Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to take charge of our Facilities & Infrastructure Management operations.
As the key driving force behind all facility management aspects, you will ensure seamless operations, cost-effective project delivery, and forward-thinking solutions across our precinct.
Your leadership will enhance our facilities' efficiency, safety, and sustainability, creating a lasting impact on both the business and its environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all facets of facilities management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting operational goals and strategic objectives.
- Provide strong leadership to outsourced facility management teams and service contractors, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the uninterrupted operation of all M&E systems and building infrastructure, safeguarding critical business activities and processes.
- Proactively address and resolve any outstanding or newly identified (latent) defects, offering solutions that minimize risk and maximize operational efficiency.
- Act as a strategic partner to business units, driving improvements in design, space utilization, and facility setups to enhance productivity and optimize precinct layouts.
- Ensure robust contract management, with comprehensive reporting, compliance checks, and systems in place to drive accountability and operational success.
- Establish and maintain a rigorous Work, Health, and Safety framework to protect employees, contractors, and the public.
- Prepare detailed board papers and presentations on infrastructure and facility-related matters, communicating with executive leadership and stakeholders effectively.
- Lead the development and management of our Sustainability Framework, driving green initiatives and eco-efficient solutions throughout the precinct.
- Spearhead the preparation of annual Opex and Capex budgets for Facilities and Infrastructure, participating in executive reviews and ensuring tight budget control and financial governance.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 10+ years of experience in the facilities management sector, with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams in complex environments.
- Graduate degree in Architecture, Engineering, Technology, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire multi-disciplinary teams, including external vendors and sub-contractors, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- In-depth knowledge of facilities operations, maintenance, M&E systems, and security protocols, with experience overseeing multi-venue facilities.
- Strong understanding of FM contract management, reporting, variations, and compliance with both client and government regulations.
