The Best Connection are seeking LGV CE / HGV Class 1 drivers for our client in Knottingley, WF11
The role involves 1-3 store deliveries per shift, to major chain retail stores across the UK. Product is on totes and the only requirement of the driver is to move the tote to the back of the trailer, the store staff will then take the product off and into store.
Drivers must have a Class 1 licence with an in date CPC and Digi card with no more than 6 licence points, with no major endorsements. Minimal experience is acceptable for this contract provided candidates can pass a driving assessment prior to shift. This will include maneuvering and reversing so must be competent at this.
There are numerous shifts available on afternoons and weekends.
We would welcome part time drivers to cover ad-hoc shifts so if you would just like 1 or 2 days please get in touch!
Pay rates (+ holiday pay accrual)
Nights - £18.62 - £27.92 after 8 hours
Saturdays - £23.00 all hours
Sundays & Bank Hols - £23.00 all hours
