Calling all 7.5-Ton Drivers
The Best Connection are an employment business and are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced 7.5-ton driver for our client based in Wimbledon. Location: Wimbledon, London Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour Overtime Rate: £19.50 per hour (applies after 8 hours) Job Type: Part time / Ongoing Contract Shift hours: 7 am to 5 pm Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a 7.5-ton vehicle, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately. Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Requirements: A valid 7.5-ton driving licence (C1 category) with no more than 6 points. Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous experience driving a 7.5-ton vehicle, ideally in multi-drop deliveries. Strong knowledge of London roads and surrounding areas. Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
