WHAT YOU BRING
Qualifications & Experience
● Five to 10 years’ PR agency experience managing clients and engaging in business development, preferably in B2B, technology, and finance industries
● A wide range of tier-1 business and trade media contacts
● A portfolio of high-quality writing covering a broad range of complex topics in various structures, e.g. editorials, media releases, blogs, key messaging documents
● A desire to rapidly progress your career, run your own show, and pave your own path
● Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g. Public Relations, Media, Journalism, Commerce, Finance
Exceptional Communication & Relationship Building
● Exceptional professional communication skills in written and oral forms across a range of scenarios
● Ability to distil large amounts of information into key points, including performing data analysis or interpretation of figures and statistics
● Strong research capabilities including accurately and appropriately sourcing all work
● The aptitude to build a network of influencers and media commentators and connect these with different clients to fulfil commercial objectives
● The ability to empathise and clearly communicate in multiple directions within the team, including delegating and managing up as required
● The ability to empathise and clearly communicate with clients and journalists in a way that makes them feel heard and valued
Outstanding Project Management
● Outstanding organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios profitably by following and developing workflow processes on project management software such as Monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc.
● Proven experience in planning, executing, and reporting on PR projects, while meticulously tracking and communicating adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards to clients
● Proficient in leveraging project management tools to facilitate team communication, task assignment, and progress monitoring, fostering a collaborative project environment that enhances client satisfaction.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Strategy & Account Management:
● Manage multiple projects and client portfolios profitably, being primarily responsible for the following tasks on agreed accounts
● Manage new client setup, research, media audit, and strategy decks
● Formulate and agree media strategy according to our contracted output, then use best endeavors to ensure output is met
● Develop and implement creative and innovative media campaigns aligned to client commercial and comms goals, via media releases, editorials, pitches, statements, and other media tactics
● Manage or implement media briefing notes and media training as required
● Proactively identify newsjacking opportunities through regular media monitoring
● Manage relationships between clients and media
● Set, lead, and document fortnightly client meetings
● Provide timely and proactive day-to-day client support & comms to clients and team
● Contribute to client coverage reports
Media Relations, Writing, Editing
● Author and edit strategic client content, e.g. Strategy Decks, Briefing Notes, Coveragebook Reports, etc.
● Author and edit media collateral, e.g. media releases, editorials, pitches, statements, etc.
● Pitch and place high-quality media coverage that furthers the client’s commercial goals
● Interview clients and other critical partners to extract information and inform media engagement tactics
● Research and build relationships with critical journalists
Business Management & Development
● Grow agency revenue by introducing and securing new clients, and growing agency relationships and accounts
● Build rapport and credibility with existing and new clients
● Represent and promote OUR CLIENT at events and to tech ecosystem organisations, influencers, and networks
● Establish OUR CLIENT as a preferred referral partner for startup/tech ecosystem accelerators, funds, and other partners
● Coach and inspire the loyalty, growth, and development of existing and new staff
● Recommend and introduce potential new staff
● Author strategic content for Third Hemisphere or other blogs as required
● Contribute to OUR CLIENT corporate social media as required
● Suggest and implement new channels and amplification strategies for clients and OUR CLIENT
Admin & Client Account Support
● Update Meltwater and Hubspot databases as required
● Coordinate and participate in interviews, photo shoots, and other logistical activities
● Manage OUR CLIENT systems and procedures such as Monday.com, Google Drive, Meltwater, WhatsApp, and Hubspot
