Responsibilities:
- Support Project Manager in project management for industrial park and industrial asset developments in the South-east Asian Region to ensure works are completed within budget, on schedule and of good quality
- Manage the tender process, along with the Procurement Management Team, from pre-qualification of contractors and consultants, preparation of technical tender documents, to tender clarifications and evaluation.
- Support the Engineering Lead in reviewing consultant designs, drawings and specifications so as to achieve optimum design and cost.
- Conduct technical investigations for new Industrial parks including preliminary infrastructure concept, assessment of development constraints and issues.
- Liaise with various stakeholders including internal Management, project director, consultants, and contractors for matters that arise throughout the development process.
- Propose recommendations and implement solutions for all civil and structural (C&S) related matters.
- Assist to maintain good records of technical documents for internal audit from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in C&S design and project management works.
- Familiar with design, Code of Practices, Building and Fire Safety Regulations and Green Building & Sustainability Design e.g. EDGE, LEED.
- Prior experience in a consultancy firm and/ or design experience in industrial parks and industrial building assets preferred; experience in projects in the South-east Asian Region is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills is required to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and able to work well independently and in teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other Project Management or Quality Management systems
- Willing to travel when business need arises
