Job Description:
• Originate and close opportunities to develop new market segments, product groups and
channels.
• Identify and canvass new sales opportunities and market through prospecting.
• Provide pre and post-sales support to customers.
• Develop and plan sales strategies to meet monthly sales targets and progressive KPIs.
• Manage the assigned accounts in a professional and efficient manner, consistent with
good technical sales practice; To establish and execute a customer contact plan that will
ensure the level of service and technical follow up needs and inquiries are properly and
promptly addressed.
• Continuously identify sales opportunities within assigned territory or market segment.
• Develop shipping network and strategy to drive new business and client development in
marine industry.
• Promote and develop the company’s product and services incorporating customers
feedback and requirements.
• Respond efficiently to customers’ technical or commercial queries and consistently meets
customers’ expectation
• Perform market research surveys amongst customer base to seek feedback on sales and
service techniques, follow-up methods and quality of after sales service.
• Cultivate and enhance long term relationship with new and existing customer and build a
strong client relationship and grow accounts to their maximum potential.
• Work closely with General Manager to develop and implement sales and service
strategies to achieve committed sales target.
• Work closely within Sales Department to manage and expand existing business and
contribute to meet sales KPI.
• Respond efficiently to customers’ technical or commercial queries and consistently meets
customers’ expectation.
• Maintain teamwork by incorporating positive attitude.
• Perform weekly & monthly simple sales report for review and implementation.
• Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or higher
management.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical or Mechatronics field.
• Have a strong and successful sales experience for more than 2 years in marine industry.
• Is a strong networker and to-the-point communicator who is managed to build and
maintain a solid internal and external network.
• Outgoing personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Aggressive, enthusiastic, and result oriented.
• Positive working attitude and self-motivated.
• Preferred who are familiar with 2-Stroke & 4-Stroke Engines, Engine Components MRO.
• Possess own car is an added advantage.
