Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry of invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and process invoices, claims, and payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain updated cash flow records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Support the finance team in preparing for audits and compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage office petty cash and ensure proper documentation for expenses.
- Perform administrative duties related to finance, such as filing and organizing financial documents.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or AutoCount) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations is a plus.
