About the Role
As a member of the Leveraged & Acquisition Finance (“LAF”) team in Singapore, you will be responsible for the credit analysis, financial modelling, debt structuring and due diligence for Financial Sponsor and complex corporate transactions. Being part of the broader Corporate Finance business, you will also be exposed to other products, and contribute to the overall growth of the CF division.
To be successful in this role you must have a strong work ethic, strong financial modelling and credit analysis experience and customer engagement skills. Work will be undertaken with existing and new clients of ANZ International. We pride ourselves on a positive team culture which you will contribute to.

What will your day look like?
As an Associate Director/ Senior Manager, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and/or review and modify complex, customised financial models for structured transactions and run cross sensitivity analyses using these models.
- Undertake the preliminary assessment and preparation of briefing papers in conjunction with other members of the LAF team.
- Completion of due diligence, financial modelling, & preparation of the credit memorandums.
- Optimise the financial performance of the LAF business by being effective in deal execution.
- Proactively service LAF clients balancing risk/return objectives.
- Assist in the ongoing management and monitoring of existing LAF transactions, by supporting STM.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with particular emphasis on ability to extract relevant information and present in a concise format.
- Strong credit/risk assessment skills gained through experience in corporate, commercial or investment banking.
- Strong mathematical and analytical ability with experience in the interpretation and analysis of complex financial data and cashflow/financial modelling (primarily excel based).
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to interface with internal stakeholders, credit executives and clients at a senior level.
- Sound working knowledge of ANZ Group Credit Policies and Procedures as well as ANZ systems and applications.
