• Serves as a Child and Youth (CY) Program Assistant in one or more Child and Youth Programs (CYP). Maintains control and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years.

• Administers medications and basic care items to participants according to prescribed procedures and CYP medical directives. Observes program participants for signs that may indicate illness, abuse, or neglect and reports as directed. Notes special instructions provided by parents. Ensures participants depart with authorized person according to written parental instructions. 
• Assists in maintaining program participation data and completing required daily reports. Provides care and supervision, oversight, and accountability for program participants in compliance with DoD Component, and local installation policies, guidance, and standards.  
• Completes training requirements using approved Office of Secretary of Defense and Service materials to include Department of Defense (DoD) approved competency training courses. Participates in program evaluation as required. 
• Assists in achieving and maintaining DoD certification and national accreditation where applicable. Ensures compliance with law, policies, and regulations applicable to DoD CYPs.

Position located in the Health Services Department at a Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) correctional facility.

Primarily responsible for providing emergency assessment and medical care to inmate patients.

First responder at the scene of sudden illness or emergency and sometimes encounters situations which may be life threatening.

Determines, upon consultation with a medical provider (physician/physician assistant/nurse practitioner), the most appropriate method of transportation to the local hospital.

This Financial Specialist position is located Enterprise Support (ES), Operations Management (OM), Budget and Financial Operations Division (BFOD), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The incumbent of this position identifies and analyzes costs associated with acquisition plans, maintaining financial database and prepares cost projections and/or estimates with the program.
