Responsibilities:
• Identify new sales leads and manage the existing portfolio of in-house accounts.
• Identify potential new customers to achieve or exceed revenue goals.
• Make cold calls as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
• Generate leads, set appointments, and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels (such as sales visits, emails, telephone calls, etc.).
• Organize customer visits and negotiate contracts and packages.
• Develop quotations and proposals for customers in a timely manner.
• Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
• Compile feedback from existing and prospective customers and share it with management.
• Update and record all business development and sales activities using CRM in a timely manner.
Skills required:
- Must have experience in Minimum 3-5 years Sales experience in Freight Forwarding/ Logistics;
- Highly motivated individual with a strong product knowledge in import/export ocean (NVOCC) and air, and selling experience of value-added service 3PL solution.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, with proficiency in Chinese being an advantage.
- Knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel software.
- Have experience in Intra Asia Tradelink
