- You will be responsible for the control, operation and administration of ocean transportation by Government-owned or commercial vessels of personnel, cargo and petroleum for agencies of the Department of Defense (DOD).
- You will be responsible for the oversight and direction of CIVMAR Support Group programs for the respective CIVMAR workforce.
- You will be responsible for carrying out Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and communicating support of these policies to subordinates.
- You will be responsible for assuring equality in determining qualifications, selections, assignments, training, promotions, details, discipline, and awards to employees.
- You will be responsible for providing information, resources and assistance to the primary next of kin in the event of a casualty.
- You will be responsible for the oversight and management of processing compensatory time off for travel in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and Subsistence and Quarters (S and Q) payments as well as leave restoration.
- You will be responsible for Green Belt projects; CPI analyses and makes recommendations.
- You will be responsible for CIVMAR personnel verification during emergencies and exercises and marshalling the resources necessary to ensure timely accounting and reporting.
