Our client, a renowned private bank is seeking an experience Compliance specialist to support our management team in ensuring adherence to all relevant Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the management team, including the Head of Compliance and the Head of AML, in implementing and adhering to AML/S/CFT/ABC policies and procedures.
• Conduct transaction monitoring and account surveillance, utilizing data mining techniques to identify potential compliance issues.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of AML monitoring tools such as SWIFT, Pythagoras, and IMTF.

• Conduct training sessions on AML/CFT/FATCA/CRS regulations, ensuring that staff are updated on new or revised regulations.
• Support the preparation of training materials for AML/S/CFT/ABC compliance training.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with the Head of Compliance, Head of AML, and the compliance team on various tasks related to monitoring, surveillance, and general compliance advice.
• Participate in ad hoc special projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Min 5-7 years of relevant experience in general compliance and FCC, with a min Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in AML or compliance are a plus.
• Mandatory experience in private bank.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using AML monitoring tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of local and international AML regulations and compliance best practices.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Balyasny Asset Management is seeking an experienced Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance for the Asia region. As the Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance, the employee will report to the firm’s Head of Asia Compliance and would be responsible for development, implementation, management, and oversight of the firm’s Compliance program in relation to its’ business in the Asia region. The responsibilities will include providing compliance counsel to investment staff on research and trading related matters and regulations adopted by the SFC, JFSA, KFB, MAS and others, maintain a strong compliance presence within, and provide compliance oversight for, the regional offices, assist with the review of marketing materials, complete and submit regulatory filings and conduct compliance training for local HK and Singapore staffs.

In the role of Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance, the employee will be responsible for, among others, the following:

• Provide direct support to the Head of Asia Compliance to manage the compliance priorities for the Asia region;
• Maintain a strong compliance presence within, and provide compliance oversight for all regional offices in Asia;
• Provide research and trading related compliance counsel to the investment staff in relation to day to day business matters;

• Within this, minimum 3 years of compliance experience working at a multistrategy hedge fund.

Our large Acute Teaching Hospital has almost 1400 beds and is located in a PFI hospital which opened in 2006, situated just off the junction of the M6 and M69. We are a major trauma centre and tertiary and specialist referral centre for many specialties including Neurosciences and Stroke, Oncology, Haematology, Paediatrics, Cardiothoracic, Renal Medicine and Renal Transplant. We are also a large clinical trials centre with over 140 active trials currently recruited to. In 2018 we fully automated all our medication storage on wards (72 Omnicells and growing), this was the first part of our move towards our longer term automation strategy. The next phase has been to automate our main dispensary (July 2023) ready for the new Trust EPR system (which arrived summer 2024) .
