You'll be responsible for enhancing the Group's reputation by supporting the Ambassadors for the East and South-East of England in their role as trusted and credible influencers within these regions, thereby helping to amplify and promote the Group's main strategic priorities. The BSM is a member of the wider GPA team, made up of colleagues from a variety of political, policy and industry backgrounds. The main focus areas will be political engagement and public policy advocacy, with a requirement to use traditional and social media to enhance the Group's reputation and secure engagement with our policy positions in these regions. The BSM will be required to maintain and build a good political network in the East and South East of England.

Key responsibilities

• Devising a comprehensive regional engagement strategy.

• Preparing and briefing Ambassadors ahead of meetings with political stakeholders.

• Political monitoring of political and public policy issues relevant to the Ambassador's regions.

• Convening, and preparing for, roundtables and bilateral meetings with regional stakeholders including local MPs, Metro Mayors, Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) leaders (both virtually and face-to-face within the region or Westminster). This will require travel to and around both regions.

• Supporting the delivery of division-wide engagement and policy advocacy campaigns e.g. The Big Conversation 2020.

• Developing and delivering comprehensive political engagement plans for the Ambassadors, crafted to deliver LBG's strategic priorities. While balancing this with 'reactive' engagement on topics which matter to regional stakeholders e.g. support for business, domestic abuse, inclusion, branch closures etc.

• Developing good working relationships with local MPs, thereby becoming a trusted and known LBG contact for the region's stakeholders.

• Identifying, escalating and mitigating emerging risks arising from decisions taken by the Group in the region.

• Representing the Group at, sometimes difficult, political meetings and functions with regional government officials, trade bodies and other opinion formers.

• Responding swiftly (and socialise with other GPA peers) to enquiries or complaints from politicians. This could involve monitoring of political activity during weekends or bank holidays.

• Providing expertise and input into government consultations specifically affecting the regions.

• Working with social and traditional media agencies to develop opportunities for being recognised for our social activity and, ultimately, to increase advocacy of our ideas. This will involve managing the Ambassadors' Twitter handles ensuring co-ordination with Group handles where required while embracing opportunities for bespoke content.

About the role

The Head of Legal Asia, part of the Global Legal Team, will oversee the delivery of legal support across the Asia portfolio, supporting PIDG’s InfraCo product offering in Asia. Reporting to the Global General Counsel, the Head of Legal Asia will take responsibility for ensuring that InfraCo adheres to all legal requirements on its projects and investments and monitoring all applicable legal aspects of its projects and investments.

Roles & Resposibilities

Projects and Investment

• Manage and oversee advice and actions in relation to the development, structuring, financing and operating of investments and projects, including in relation to dropping, wind-down, expansion and/or exits.
• Manage and oversee drafting of project development, investment, financing and divestment related documents. Manage and oversee legal negotiations on the same and provide support for project teams in drafting and finalisation of commercial contracts.

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this Security Specialist (Security Manager) - Reservist position, you will be a member of the Security Cadre and will serve as technical authority on the development and interpretation of disaster security guidelines, policies, and procedures as well as assist in the development of the facility Emergency Occupant Plan and the creation of emergency procedures.

Typical assignments include:

• Vetting local personnel including completing fingerprinting and credentialing/badging personnel

• Maintain constructive contacts with representatives of tenant agencies, judges, members of Congress, other public officials, community groups and associations. Obtain continuous feedback from customer agencies to ascertain the level of service provided. Make adjustments in response procedures and service delivery methods as necessary to enhance and improve customer service. Represent GSA on Property Management matters. Provide information and counseling on doing business with GSA to the general public and local officials.
• Responsible for full lease administration of all non delegated leases and for oversight of delegated leases, to protect GSA's interests, protect the value of the leasehold asset, insure proper compliance with the terms of the lease, and insure that the government receives full value for the rent.

Tracks trends and makes adjustments in field operations as necessary to stay within approved funding levels at all times.
• Serve as Contracting Officer Representative for administration of service and construction contracts awarded by others. BM is responsible to ensure that the terms and conditions of the contracts are fully  carried out, that adequate inspection and documentation is completed and that the government receives full value for its payments. Authorize payments and deductions on service and construction contracts.

This Transportation Security Manager position is located at Des Moines International Airport (DSM), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this Local Hire (Public Assistance Program Delivery Manager) position, you will report to the Public Assistance Program Delivery Task Force Lead and serve as the primary point of contact for the applicant.

Typical assignments include:

• Tracking and communicating the progress of all projects through the entire program delivery model in coordination with the Applicant.
• Engaging program offices as soon as potential opportunities or concerns arise.
• Discussing potential Hazard Mitigation opportunities with the Applicant.

This Program Manager position is located at Enterprise Support (ES), Training and Development (T&D), Canine Training Center, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Program Manager, you will perform the following duties:

• Oversees and initiates strategic planning to position the canine program for ongoing growth and effectiveness, communicates the program's vision to both internal and external stakeholders and Congress. Sets overall priorities, goals and objectives and evaluates the program's success in meeting such objectives. Monitors and evaluates performance of organizational sections, managers and staff. Defines staff and resource requirements and participates in planning efforts across organizational units.
• Conducts initial and recurrent training, as well as annual certifications, for over 1,000 canine teams deployed across the country; provides standards, training, and quality assurance for Regional Canine Training Instructors.
• Leads TSA's relationship with Military Working Dog program, co-located with TSA's program at Lackland Air Force Base; this includes directing staff to ensure proper veterinarian and other care for canines, budgeting, planning and executing facilities expansion strategies, and collaborating with explosives detection canine capabilities.
