The SLT team at Hillingdon Hospitals are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly and supportive adult in-patient service.

If you want to develop your knowledge, skills and experience in the acute, stroke and neurorehabilitation settings, this post will offer a variety of caseload experience and professional development opportunities, including completion of the RCSLT Newly Qualified Practitioner framework and in-house dysphagia competency training.

This role is split between our acute, stroke and neuro-rehabilitation caseloadsand requires regular, joint multidisciplinary team working. There will be opportunities to gain experience across acute and rehabilitation settings including opportunities to provide regular teaching and training to nurses, medics and other AHPs.



The post holder will be required to provide specialist assessment and treatment along the various clinical pathways including neurorehabilitation, stroke, care of the elderly, general medicine, respiratory and trauma. The post holder will work as part of the SLT team and wider MDT and will be supported and supervised by a Specialist SLT as well as the Clinical Lead SLT.

You will receive regular clinical supervision, monthly CPD sessions, peer support and evidence-based practice sessions provided by our very supportive team.

At Hillingdon Manor, we provide specialist education for 185 pupils, aged between 3.5 and 19. Located across two sites. Our Secondary School supports around 125 pupils. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, self-motivated nurse / midwife to join our Urogynaecology Outpatient Nursing Team in Gynaecology at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust.

We are looking to recruit a Band 7 nurse / midwife with experience and qualifications in this field or someone who is willing to work towards this at Band 6 level as part of an 18 month to 2 year training post. Gynaecology knowledge and experience is essential to this role.

The successful candidate will work alongside a consultant lead in urogynaecology and a dedicated team of gynaecology nurses and support workers. The team provide a specialist service for women with pelvic floor and bladder dysfunction.

The post holder will be able to co-ordinate and deliver an expert nurse led service including the management of prolapse, vaginal pessary, bladder retraining, catheter care, TWOC, PTNS, bladder instillation's, and provide medication reviews.

They will be able to work autonomously, have excellent decision making skills, ensuring the delivery of high quality care.

The candidate will be an experienced gynaecology nurse with excellent clinical skills, in addition have a proven track record in teaching and education as well as service improvement and leadership.

The post holder will be required to work cross sites at West Middlesex University Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

The post holder will work independently and unsupervised as an expert urogynaecology Specialist Nurse within the urogynaecology cross-site service. They will demonstrate advanced levels of clinical judgment, discretion and clinical decision making in accordance with evidence-based practice and the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG)



The post holder will be an experienced urogynaecolgy specialist nurse, with expert knowledge and skills in the field of urogynaecolgy.



They should be able to co-ordinate and deliver an expert nurse led service including being able to assess new patients referred with disrupted urinary function and pelvic organ prolapse, undertaking vaginal examination, bladder scanning and urodynamic studies; manage vaginal pessaries, bladder retaining, catheter care, TWOC, PTNS, bladder instillations,ISC teaching and medication reviews and be able to advise on appropriate treatment plans.



The post holder will work in partnership with the Urogynaecology Lead Consultant on both Trust sites and the Clinical Director for Gynaecology to deliver the clinical objectives of the service.



The role includes supporting specialist nurses in training, providing clinical teaching and education to other colleagues (medical/nursing) to enhance clinical practice and improve patient care.

The Role:

• Food & Beverage Operative supports their team in delivering exceptional customer service
• Your working areas may vary i.e, F&B Operative may work in the: Bar, Restaurant, Breakfast, Room Service and/or Conference and Events
• You will be the face of the outlet, communicating with the kitchen and the guests alike ensuring a smooth and memorable experience

To contribute to the set up and effective running of a Birth Review and Reflect Service Ensure database and systems are in place to monitor themes and outcomes for women accessing the service and these are reported in a timely manner to the Clinical Governance team The post holder will ensure the smooth running of the service with responsibility for receiving all referrals, responding to referrals within stated timescales. Offering a prompt initial contact and support to the woman, and remaining an accessible point of contact, and support throughout involvement with the service. Co-ordinating appointments with professionals and keeping families informed following self-referral into service or referral by other health care professionals. To support professionals prior to Birth Reflect and Review consultations with women and birthing people, ensuring that relevant maternity notes and records are available. Organising appointments in confidential space individual women feel comfortable to attend including hospitals, their own homes and community hubs. To support professionals and service users following appointments this may include written and verbal feedback and supporting referral process onto other services such as PALS or patient complaint teams To contribute to the service user experience ensuring women and families are listened to and responded to with compassion. The post holder will support the feedback loop ensuring that the service is able to identify themes and learning from the experience of service users which will be used by the Maternity Service and wider LMNS to improve the experience for service users. To contribute to the safety culture and service improvement within the organisation, ensuring that feedback is used to improve quality and safety of maternity services and reduce inequalities in experience and outcome for women To liaise with a variety of professionals and organisations to ensure women referred to users to the service are responded to in a timely manner and supported through any onward referral pathways. Contributes to the safeguarding of mothers and babies being aware of triggers for concerns and reporting concerns appropriately within the Trust and multi-disciplinary team. Maintain accurate patient records in line with Trust guidelines. Ensure that any database or client related data are correctly stored, processed and secured in line with departmental and Trust policies and to comply with IG requirements. Referral attendance and outcome records are kept and analysed as part of service evaluation and development. To contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the service, including collating themes, outcomes and feedback from service users. Practice Plus Group are seeking a dedicated, organised and detailed orientated Resource Administrator to join our busy London out of Hours service delivering innovative Integrated Urgent Care. You will be responsible for creating accurate rotas ensuring that all areas of the service are covered by both clinicians and operational staff. You will be playing a key role in arranging shifts for bank and locum medical staff using shift pattern information. The successful person will need to be able to adapt to last minute changes requiring immediate cover as well as arranging rotas on a long term basis. As well as working with current staff, you will also be the first point of contact for new staff joining the service. You will be arranging training, inductions and collecting any outstanding documentation needed before their first shift. Alongside your administrative duties, you will be reporting any queries and problems that arise.
