This position is located at the ANG Wing with/or without geographically separated units (GSU)/ARNG Region located in a State that is divided into multiple regions (within the State) not servicing one specific BDE. This position serves as the implementer of the Integrated Primary Prevention(IPP) Program. Due to the specialty nature of these roles this position reports to the Joint Force Headquarter Primary Prevention Officer. The primary purpose of this position is to implement and support integrated prevention programs. It collaboratively identifies, implements, and assesses public health-informed and evidence-based prevention policy, practices, programs and processes. Supports healthy climate/culture to eliminate harassment, sexual violence, family violence and self-directed harm using a public health perspective and socio-ecological theoretical lens. This involves an integrated, multi-agency, and collaborative approach with other Wings/Regions, Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), and local programs with a nexus to integrated primary prevention (IPP)efforts.

• Serves as the point of contact for harm and abuse prevention programs and activities; provides program coordination and serves as the subject matter expert for the Wing/Region IPP program. Serves as the Primary Prevention Integrator (PPI) managing all aspects of a complex integrated primary prevention program (P3) for the Wing/Region. Serves as the Wing/Region point of contact for the suicide prevention program, workplace and domestic violence programs in a non-clinical primary prevention, here after referred to as prevention, role in coordination with applicable offices and community agencies. Delivers initial prevention activities, averting harm or abuse before it occurs. Identifies risk and protective factors that lead to or protect against unhealthy or unsafe behaviors. Promotes actions to mitigate environmental factors. Examines and interprets population data from the Wing/Region. Interprets S/T/DC policies and guidance to develop Wing/Region specific policy, plans, objectives and guidance for the operation of local P3. Coordinates the implementation and coordination of all such activities at a local level. Provides professional advisory services and training to Wing/Region Service Members and community agencies concerning available or ongoing violence-related prevention efforts. Utilizes effective presentation and facilitation skills, provides accurate and appropriate technical assistance tailored to specific audiences, and communicates the complexities of prevention issues to stakeholders and the public. Develops coordinated plans for reducing risk factors and promoting protective factors for increased resiliency within the community.
• Supports inter- and intra-personal violence prevention efforts and programming through the Wing/regional leadership advisory committees, boards and working groups. Represents their population's integrated prevention efforts as a member of leadership advisory committees, boards and working groups. Collects, consolidates, and presents relevant prevention program data to leadership advisory committees, boards, and working groups. Briefs Commanders and senior personnel on Integrated Primary Prevention (IPP), as defined in applicable policy and official guidance, to obtain optimum support for IPP activities. Below the JFHQ level, chairs leadership advisory committees, boards and working groups, as requested by leadership.
• Serves as the Wing/Region liaison for local military and civilian agencies to promote timely information exchange, coordinate collaborative prevention efforts, and establish resource links and community partnerships. Incorporates comprehensive strategies to enhance community strengths, address broad-based community needs, suggest community problem solving methods, and forge community connections. Establishes networking, advocacy, and collaboration processes through which to promote IPP to the community.
• Responsible for developing and overseeing healthy climate, resiliency, risk reduction activities, trainings, and communication campaigns within the Wing/Region. Advises Wing/Region commanders in communicating prevention plans and programs to subordinate units. Responsible for adopting JFHQ's activities and communication campaigns and overseeing the implementation of JFHQ's IPP strategy within communities in proximity to Units. Serves as consultant and advisor on prevention communications, programming, planning, and processes.
• Recruits, trains, and facilitates military volunteers for prevention activity implementation. Provides technical oversight to service members (DSG/M-Day) within the Wing/Region who are assigned to perform integrated prevention activities at the Unit level. Conducts trainings around prevention activities, processes, and planning. Oversees military volunteers who are supporting the implementation of the program to ensure fidelity.

This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. The purpose of the position is to serve as an inspector of surface maintenance equipment to ensure that physical and operating characteristics are within acceptable standards and specifications. Duties involve complex inspection work that requires a wide variety of inspection processes and techniques. May assist higher graded inspectors, as required.

• Inspects a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment (i.e., combat, tactical, etc.) and automotive vehicles (i.e., attack tanks, large cranes, tank retrievers, fire trucks, bridge transporters, armored vehicle launched bridges, bulldozers, road graders, crawler tractors, power shovels, self propelled earth compacting equipment, self propelled artillery, etc.). May also inspect heavy artillery, small arms, powered support and other equipment or components of equal or lesser complexity. May assist higher-graded inspectors to perform inspections on equipment repairs.
• Inspects complex, interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems, equipment and their components while in operation or in a standby condition. Inspects and performs tests to braking, steering, and differential systems, which are mechanically integrated with the transmission; to large engines, which directly power multiple hydraulic and pneumatic systems; to intricate fuel injection systems; to turret stabilization systems; and to other systems combined in a single, complex mechanical assembly. Uses specially designed testing methods and test equipment such as computerized test sets, precision gauges, electronic sensors, injector test stands, engine scopes, etc., to assure that tolerance and safety factors have been met.
• Inspects equipment to determine repairs needed. Utilizes established Maintenance Expenditure Limits (MEL) to evaluate economic feasibility of repair(s). Considers a variety of factors such as cost and availability of parts, man-hours, and impact of time constraints on the mission to assess whether repair is economical. Recommends to a higher echelon to condemn equipment when the repair costs exceed the established MEL. Prepares lists of needed repairs, parts, and man-hours authorized. Performs in-process inspections to assure that equipment is being repaired in accordance with pertinent requirements. Performs final inspection, certifying that equipment is in satisfactory operating condition, or rejects the work and returns the equipment to the repair shop with specific reports prescribing additional repairs.
• Serves as inspector on Command Maintenance Evaluation Teams (COMET) and/or as a member of Maintenance Assistance and Instruction Teams (MAIT).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

(1) Performs limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles. Assists higher graded mechanics in the repair and/or overhaul of major systems to include internal combustion engines, turbine engines, automatic and non-automatic transmissions, heavy duty drive line systems, and hydraulic utility systems and controls. Makes routine repairs that can be accomplished by removing, adjusting, or replacing defective or worn parts and components. Performs work in accordance with technical manuals, lubrication orders, maintenance bulletins, regulations or management policies.(2) Performs limited diagnoses to determine the cause of mechanical failures by means of visual and auditory checks and/or uses basic test equipment such as compression testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and pressure gauges. Determines when parts should be cleaned, adjusted or replaced with standard parts to complete work orders.(3) Removes, replaces, adjusts, cleans and installs parts and components such as wheel seals, switches, sensors, fuel pumps, water pumps, power steering pumps, brakes, filters, radiators, bearings, springs, shock absorbers, wheel cylinders, starter motors, mufflers, battery cables, and other items of similar complexity.(4) Independently performs routine repairs and maintenance functions in remote locations that can be accomplished by removing, cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing defective parts of components and systems using standard parts. Receives guidance and instruction from a higher graded mechanic or supervisor to perform non-routine and more complex repairs on portions of major assemblies and/or systems. May provide field maintenance at unit locations as part of a "contact team". Recovers and evacuates inoperable vehicles from the unit location of breakdown.(5) Conducts limited readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and associated equipment supported by the activity. Performs Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) and ensures vehicles and equipment are properly serviced, including brake adjustments, replacing hydraulic fluids, greasing, cleaning, etc. Performs other preventive maintenance operations as required to ensure that equipment is functioning properly.(6) May perform routine maintenance and limited repairs on basic communication equipment such as radios, field telephones, amplifiers, switchboards, recorders, intercoms by removing and replacing components and elements. Performs minor body and fender, or other metal repairs, using peening hammers, dollies and limited welding. Performs limited repairs and routine maintenance on small arms and accessory equipment by replacing worn or damaged parts. Makes minor repairs to canvas and leather items using bonding/sealing compounds and hand tools such as awls, canvas needles etc.(7) In conjunction with or in the absence of the Tools and Parts Attendant, may maintain supply documentation, and the receipt, store, issue, and inventory of tools and parts used in the trades operation.(8) Performs other duties as assigned.

Your new role

• To be the initial point of personal contact for patients accessing the Referral Support Service.
• This includes discussing with patients by phone choice and care options available to them. This will involve receiving and providing multithreaded and sensitive information about health conditions such as sexual health issues and lifestyle changes. There could be resistance to the information or barriers to understanding.
• The role will also involve liaising with alternative providers to discuss waiting times, using the NHS e-RS and Accenda Integrated Care Gateway software and all other appropriate IT sources.
• To undertake booking of patients into clinic appointments, services such as intermediate tier 2 services and hospital outpatient clinics and ensuring that choice and booking outcomes are satisfactorily completed to a high standard for all patients
• To maintain paper and software support information and administrative systems which support the delivery of a professional commissioning support service.
• To ensure that all complaints, comments and suggestions are dealt with appropriately, in accordance with policy, resolving where possible and escalating to appropriate manager as required
• Have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to review a minimum of 70-80 referrals per day whilst also meeting other different deadlines
• Inputting into, monitoring and printing reports from computerised systems as required.
