Lead on the design, development and implementation of the Board Assurance Framework ensuring it is regularly reviewed and updated by Executive Directors so that it adds value and provides assurance to the Board. Lead on the appointment of the Chair, Vice Chair, SID, non-executive directors, CEO, and executive directors are in accordance with best practice. Ensure full secretarial support, advice and follow up action is provided for the Board (including its designated formal committees), ensuring that they run efficiently, effectively and adopt best practice with a constructive relationship between them and the under-pinning governance structure. Corporate communications Corporate responsibility for the development and implementation of the Trusts communications, marketing and engagement strategies, policies and functions. Provide high quality, expert advice on corporate, internal and digital communications to the Chief Executive, Executive Team and Trust Board and to the wider organisation. Managing and developing a proactive, integrated communications, marketing and engagement service spanning public and media relations, internal communications and stakeholder engagement to promote a strong, positive reputation for the Trust. Lead the communication and engagement agenda for the development and delivery of the Trusts service transformation programmes. Support the delivery of the Strategic Aims and Objectives of the Trust and the embedding of our Values across the organisation. Present sensitive and contentious information to stakeholders and potentially hostile audiences in clear and appropriate ways that help to enhance the reputation of the Trust. Lead the development of key publications, including the Trusts Annual Report and information for patients, carers, GPs and the general public. Lead the development and management of the digital and on-line communications, including the Trusts website, staff intranet and social media. Co-ordinate and implement consistent and regular auditing, research and analysis of the effectiveness of communications techniques. 1.Main duties include providing personal assistant support to and managing the commitments of the Deputy Chief Medical Officers through efficient diary management. 2. Effective collaboration with all relevant personnel to maintain an effective administration system; prompt transcription where required, manipulation and distribution of appropriate correspondence. 3.Organising and attending DCMO chaired meetings, taking and transcribing minutes or action notes for approval, ensuring there is a good record which ensures that decisions are recorded, referenced and future action is taken at the appropriate level. 4. Providing administrative support to the CMO portfolio work/project work as required by the Medical Directorate Business Manager, including collation and reporting of data in order to produce reports, spreadsheets and presentations, utilising relevant Trust IT systems, as determined by the role, ensure all relevant data is collected and input accurately in line with Trust guidelines. 5. To plan, organise and implement the clerical and administrative processes of the Medical Directorate, Medical Revalidation & Appraisal function and job planning function where required, demonstrating effective office skills.
