Our client, a well known heating, ventilation and air conditioning company based in Tamworth requires a Quality Inspector. Possible permanent positions following a successful trial period. Duties include ensuring that all company products are performing to the highest standards and where these standards are not being achieved to propose and implement corrective actions whilst delivering consistent service standards. Building great relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and colleagues, ensuring positive client and end user experience, displaying good interpersonal skills & problem solving, the ability to communicate technical information and training to customers who may not be familiar with the equipment, and on occasion professionally handle difficult conversations. Compliance with all EH&S procedures and proper utilisation of all personal protective equipment. Keeping managers and engineering colleagues thoroughly informed on the quality of work, performance, potential problems and feedback from customer. Ensuring that company expectations are met in respect to safe working, customer experience, technical competence, commercial target delivery, and agreed quality standards in all company activities.
Our client offers: Monday to Thursday 0700-1700 38 hours per week £12.65 per hour Free onsite parking Canteen facilities Qualifications and experience required: Validating of incoming and outgoing products by means of pre-determined inspection requirements including use of measurement equipment (Faro Arm, Height Gauge, Vernier Callipers, Micrometres etc.) Providing monthly reports to the QM on the process performance as a result of such inspection activities. Reviewing of received, and provision of, Initial Sample Inspection Reports (Supplier/ Customer) with monthly status report to QM. Ensuring the promotion and awareness of customer requirements. Liaising with suppliers on non-conforming product. (Removal from site, replacement and corrective actions) Be able to work as part of a team and on their own. Have knowledge of corrective action tools i.e. 8D reports. Be computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel.) Be able to communicate to cross level teams and have a good level of English. Supporting creation of Process instructions such as SOPs, packing instructions etc. Full UK Drivers licence (due to restrictions of vehicle insurance, applicants must be over 21 years of age) Ability to carry out administration within a given deadline Ability to work alone Ability to provide a right first time solution Ability to work in areas that have restricted access This role will require some manual handling and lifting of equipment weighing approx. 25KG Ability to work under own initiative and pro-actively seek work Benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Limited include: Online payslips Weekly pay Pension contribution 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
