Providing primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough, Catering Services have a variety of opportunities for you to work as a General Kitchen Assistant across their service and would like to hear from you.

The role includes assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, whilst providing a safe, clean environment to pupils and staff. You will be required to lay out dining tables and chairs and, in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal - training will be provided upon start.

Cover at schools across the County Borough is a requirement of the role as well as having a Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate; training will be provided if necessary to help you obtain this.

Working hours will be confirmed upon appointment but will be between the hours of 10.00am and 2.30pm, to support the mid -morning break and lunchtime periods, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Post holder based at Kenworthy House will be based on the reception desk; meeting and greeting visitors for services which include West Locality Childcare Teams, Permanence Teams, Leaving Care, Targeted Youth Support, Youth Justice Service, Connexions, PAUSE, RAST, Fostering and Adoption, therefore, resilience is required as you will be dealing with difficult life experienced visitors face to face.
Post holder based at 79 Lowgate will be provide business support for central administration team, processing financial transactions, retrieving paper childcare files from archives locations for information governance and visiting social workers from other local authorities; meeting and greeting visitors.
Both post holder’s role involves answering telephone calls for Childrens Safeguarding which can be difficult and challenging, you to be working within an emotive and demanding working environment. Other tasks include issuing cash payments updating and retrieving information within Liquidlogic along with variety of other administration tasks.
NVQ level 3, working towards a level 3 qualification or equivalent experience of working in a busy demanding environment, good interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in the use of IT, the role can be emotionally demanding, you must be able to maintain confidentiality working within GDP Regulations.
Hybrid working arrangements are in place however you will be expected to work in the office due to the role being reception based.
The positions available are:

Kenworthy House – 18.5 hours permanent Wednesday pm, Thursday, Friday
79 Lowgate – 37 hours fixed term until 31.10.2025 to cover maternity leave

• You will build long term direct relationship with clients, will work closely with them to uncover new sales opportunities within your assigned client accounts. You are responsible in managing all aspects of sales from Prospecting, Qualifying, Proposing, Closing & Collection.

WHO YOU ARE?

• You have 2 - 4 / >5 years’ direct sales experience in the IT industry; experience in Mid-sized to Enterprise level accounts would be an added advantage.
• You have a strong passion in helping customers in their business digitization journey and have established a comprehensive client base through your past & current sales roles.
• You are passionate about sales and derive satisfaction in being able to articulate the business benefits of Konica Minolta’s IT offerings and deliver positive outcome that enhances & improves your client’s business.
• You have a solid understanding on how to effectively position & market IT solutions such as Managed IT Outsourcing & Resource Services, Next Generation Network Security solution, Business Process, Managed Content & Managed Print Services.
• You’re experienced in owning the full sales cycle - prospecting, customer solution presentation, negotiating and closing the sale with a proven track record of execution.
• You possess strong understanding of business & market / vertical trends that will enable you to drive a consultative engagement approach with your clients.
• You’re a strong team player and have demonstrated the ability to collaborate effectively with different internal supporting business units such as Support, Engineering, Operations & Marketing.

Role Overview:
The post holder will assist and support the Course Leader, Professional Practice Programme Manager and Professional Tutors with the day-to-day running and administration of the Part 3 programme.
The programme runs twice per annum, in the Autumn and the Spring. The former is during the first two weeks of September whereas the latter runs on Saturdays from early January to mid-March. The examination follows immediately after the course and includes written papers which candidates complete at home. The examination concludes with the oral, held in person and organised over three days. Ideally the postholder will work from the premises in Bedford Square, five days per week.

This an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking General Practice Assistant (GPA) to join our multidisciplinary team. Clinical Pharmacy in General Practice is fundamental in developing a model of care which addresses our ambition to deliver person-centred coordinated care across our member practices. We look forward to receiving applications from forward-thinking, motivated professionals who share the values of K&W Healthcare Duties: Sorting all clinical posts and prioritising for the GP in terms of actions. Signposting some posts to others such as clinical pharmacists etc. Extracting all information from clinical letters that needs coding and adding to notes Arranging appointments, referrals, tests and follow-up appointments of patients Preparing patients prior to going in to see the GP, taking a brief history and basic readings in readiness for the GP appointment. Dipping urine, taking blood pressure, ECGs & phlebotomy Completing basic (non-opinion) forms and core elements of some forms for the GP to approve and sign such as insurance forms, mortgage, benefits agency forms etc. Explaining treatment procedures to patients Helping the GP liaise with outside agencies e.g., getting an on-call doctor on the phone to ask for advice or arrange admission while the GP can continue with their consultation(s) Support the GP with immunisations/wound care Working under the supervision of a doctor as part of a medical team Have direct contact with patients, take medical histories, carry out physical examinations, update records Make diagnoses, analyze test results, and deliver treatment, support clinical care for people with long-term conditions.
