What skills and experience we're looking for
Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust (FMAT) is looking for an enthusiastic Trust Teacher to join the team from 1 January 2025. Located at any one of our Academies, you will lead by example in the classroom and will contribute to the work of the Mathematics team to ensure excellent outcomes for our students.
This is a particularly exciting time to join our Trust, and this post represents an increase in FMAT’s School Improvement Team. This challenging and rewarding role requires an individual who is inspirational, passionate and highly effective. In this role, you will:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Maths, following the national curriculum
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching methods
• Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and school events
To be successful, you will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in a relevant discipline
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
