RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Centre Leader/ Principal, you will be responsible for developing strategic plans and structures to foster a culture of care and trust, mentoring, collaborative professionalism and continuous learning within the Centre. You will manage and improve Centre operations, and strive for programme excellence by establishing robust processes in strategic areas. You will set an example by embodying the Centre's mission, vision, and values, and oversee the well-being of all Centre staff.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve centre operations while complying with industry regulations and Star Learners' standard operating procedures
- Emphasise the importance of maintaining appropriate health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene standards and procedures
- Promote the vision, mission, and values of the centre among staff and stakeholders
- Establish strategies that foster a culture of mentoring, coaching, and skill development among staff
- Develop proactive strategies to address challenges faced by staff within the centre
- Lead the development of effective classroom management strategies using best practices beyond the centre level
- Evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at improving the quality of the learning environment
- Inculcate a collaborative culture within the centre
- Provide direction for parent partnership and community engagement efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Leadership) or its equivalent
- Degree in Early Childhood Education will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of teaching and management experience in a preschool
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
