DUTIES:

• Follows procedures for patient identification, sample procurement, and specimen labeling

• Performs routine venipuncture specimen collections from patients

• Follows laboratory procedures for collecting specimens in the appropriate container

• Controls the physical condition of samples and responds to time factors to ensure that the physiologic state of the specimen is maintained

• Leads multi-functional Program Support Team including, but not limited to, Engineers, Quality Assurance Specialists, Industrial Specialists, Software Specialists and Contracting personnel.
• Represents the Contact Management Office (CMO) as the single point of contact to the Buying Command for complex complete major weapons systems, defined as Major Defense Acquisition Programs.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, implement, and monitor the Family Child Care Program to meet the needs of the community and ensure the health and safety of children. Assesses child care needs and child care options within the community. Provides on and off base community child care education and resource and referral services to families requiring child care.

DUTIES:

1. Ensures Family Child Care Program policies and procedures are in place and followed; recruits new providers to support the mission of the program.
2. Performs a variety of duties in support of the Family Child Care Program to include background checks, management of resources, establishment and maintenance of a resource-lending program, accomplishment of required reports, creation and maintenance of necessary documentation and files, and carrying out of public relations tasks.
3. Provides training to Family Child Care providers on business practices, supervision and accountability, child abuse, identifying, prevention, and reporting fire, safety, and health regulations, child nutrition etc.
4. Performs a wide variety of administrative duties related to Family Child Care, Expanded Child Care, Missile Care, Home Community Care, Deployment Care, Subsidy, Extended Duty Care, 24/7 Child Care, Air Force Aid Society Child Care for PCS/Volunteers, Respite Care, etc.

• Receives, examines and determines the condition and disposition of a wide variety of materials.
• Reviews disposal turn-in document (DTID) accompanying material and compares data against property to assure correct information including proper documentation.
