Beaufort Care Group are growing and currently searching for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a brand-new residential children’s home in Eastleigh. Are you the right person for the job?
We need someone who is a natural leader with a proven track record in residential children’s care. You will bring:
• At least 2 years’ managerial experience in children’s homes
• Expertise in supervising and developing a team of childcare professionals
• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (or equivalent), and ideally, you’re working towards or already hold a Level 5 in Leadership and Management
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• The ability to register with Ofsted and ensure the home meets their standards
What will your role look like?
• Lead and manage a brand-new children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of service in line with the Statement of Purpose, Company expectations, legislation, policies and Ofsted regulatory guidelines
• Create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where children feel heard, respected, and valued
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of your team, fostering a culture of excellence and growth
• Be a key point of contact, offering advice, coaching, and guidance to your team while promoting therapeutic relationships between children, your team, and families
• Build strong partnerships with local authorities and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for each child
• Collaborate with the wider management team to continually evolve and improve our services, policies and procedures
