As a SUPERVISORY PLANNING DEPUTY you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for developing resource strategies that solve budget issues with a focus on short- and long-term Defense Working Capital Fund (WCF) budget planning, activity-based costing, pricing development, and regulatory requirements.

• Perform studies and analysis of industry developments, i.e., regulatory changes, new legislative initiatives, new or revised environmental statutes, new technologies, legal restrictions, etc.

In this position, you will serve as a EMS risk analyst within FEMA's Natural Hazards Risk Assessment Program (NHRAP). Typical assignments include:

• Serving as a project leader and point of coordination for FEMA program policy pertaining to risk assessment.
• Serving as a risk assessment program advisor for FEMA Headquarters and FEMA Regions, along with other Federal Agencies, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial, Non-Governmental Organizations, academia, and the private sector.
• Providing analytical and advisory services in the following program areas: risk analysis, geospatial modeling, data management, technological innovation, tools development (Hazus), interagency coordination, and development of loss modeling methodological guidance.
