Company Overview:
We are a leading heavy machinery company specialising in selling and renting construction equipment. We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team and support our accounting and finance functions.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Assistant will assist the accounting team in maintaining financial records and performing various accounting and finance tasks. This role will involve working closely with the accounting team to ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the accounting team in maintaining financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
· Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
· Prepare and process invoices and payments
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
· Perform data entry and administrative tasks as needed
· Respond to internal and external financial inquiries
· Perform other duties as assigned by the accounting manager
Qualifications:
· Diploma or above in accounting, finance, or a related field
· At least two years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a heavy machinery company
· Fresh graduates are welcome
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Knowledge of accounting software and tools is a plus
Working Conditions:
The Accounts Assistant will be based in the company's Bedok office and work from Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Monthly salary: $2,700 to $2,900.
