- Reviews the tracking and control of travel and training funds of the serviced organization.
- Incumbent must perform in-depth analysis and handle complicated travel issues involving substantial corrective actions and/or complicated adjustments.
- Analyzes, verifies accuracy, and initiates corrective action for workload execution.
- Relates needs and accomplishments of the organization to anticipated and/or actual dollar figures in the budget.
- Checks the accuracy, validity, and technical treatment of fiscal data in forms, schedules, and reports, or the legality and propriety of using funds for specific purposes.
- Provides leadership to staff members in specific tasks and job techniques, and helps research complicated, non-standard, travel issues.
- Serves as primary POC for complex Permanent Change of Station (PCS) travel orders.
- Incumbent will serve as the primary Approving Official for Government Purchase Card registration payments required in conjunction with travel orders.
- Incumbent will serve as the Primary Approving Official (AO) for the Government Purchase Card used to procure registration and training fees associated with TAD orders.
- Incumbent will serve as a backup Agency Program Coordinator for the Individually Billed Account (IBA) government travel card.
- Incumbent will serve as an approving official in the Defense Travel System (DTS), responsible for approving the payment of vouchers and travel authorizations.
