Escape Recruitment are recruiting for a Process Manufacturing Engineer for their client based in Ayrshire. You would be joining the company at a time when they are going through an exciting period of growth.

Duties:

• Continually review all manufacturing processes with the aim of improving productivity and yield.
• Liaise with all relevant departments on the transfer of new products into manufacturing and ensure that all the appropriate specifications and packaging materials are available.
• Review production planning schedule to ensure adequate hours are available and monitor schedule on an on-going basis.
• Assist in planning of equipment and labour requirements to ensure sales forecast is achieved.
• Assist R&D in ensuring that new processes, equipment and products are fit for purpose
• Execute process qualification activities

Skills and experience required:

• Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
• CAPA Review experience
• Knowledge and ability to demonstrate use of Lean techniques and methodology such as Six Sigma, 5S, SMED, VSM etc.

• You will drive vehicles either on a specific trip basis or upon a regularly established schedule and route to transport material, equipment and personnel.
• You will load and unload passengers and materials or directs other in this task.
• You will keep trip records or logs showing time of departure, sequence of stops, time of return, trip mileage, gasoline and oil consumption, and similar items.
• You will conduct road test for career and civilian military personnel in groups of 5-10.
• You will make operation inspection of vehicles for loose parts, damaged or worn tires, proper air pressure in tires, adequate gasoline or diesel supply, water in radiator, etc.

• Operate the full range of gasoline or diesel powered vehicles.
• Perform maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Develop performance standards and counsel employees on performance.
• Review in-progress and completed work for adequate quantity and quality
• Identify training needs of employees and make recommendations to provide necessary training.
• Instruct subordinates in new procedures and provide advice when problems arise.

• Operate a patrol grader and bulldozer with various standard attachments, in a variety of fine and rough grading.
• Construct new fire breaks,maintains or widen breaks, cuts new roads, etc.
• Operate grader and bulldozer in extremely difficult fine grading situations.
• Operate a mobile truck-mounted crane in work situations where maneuverability is restricted and/or accuracy is critical.

• Meet, park, fuel, and defuel aircraft.
• Service aircraft by refueling or defueling following specific procedures to ensure safe operation.
• Document all fuel issues or defueling operations on appropriate forms.
• Operate 10-ton diesel power tractor with a 5000-gallon capacity fuel tanker and trailers.
• Perform ground maintenance duties.

• Provide mail operation information at service window using customer service procedures.
• Knowledge of security regulations and procedures pertaining to handling sensitive materials.
• Drive a motor vehicle up to 1 1/2 tons.
• Route personal and official mail to various units, box numbers, organization, and places.
• Perform related mail handling and clerical duties through the applicable postal regulations, procedures, manuals and directives.
• Maintain database by inputting, modifying, and retrieving data on personnel.

Warehouse Operators, Hamilton, £12.25 per hour plus overtime

We are looking for people of all backgrounds to join our established Production Team in Hamilton covering various tasks & duties in a Warehouse Operator role.

As a Warehouse Operator you will be tasked with:

• Getting involved with all aspects of the manufacturing process
• Production of parts and components for supply to the automotive industry
• Moving stock to and from specific production areas
• Overseeing machine process
• Carrying out quality checks
• Recording production data
• Packing goods in preparation for shipping to customers
