Job Description

• Oversee and validate payment requests submitted by the team
• Coordinate and schedule payment runs for institutions, ensuring payments are executed according to the established schedule
• Examine bank reconciliations completed by the team, ensuring that any discrepancies are promptly addressed and transactions with Direct Debit Authorisation arrangements are cleared
• Review withholding tax assessments to confirm that tax returns comply with Singapore's Withholding Tax regulations
• Participate in system enhancement projects, including User Acceptance Testing
• Supervise, train, and manage staff, including setting performance KPIs and conducting regular feedback sessions
• Assess and refine work processes to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required

The Successful Applicant

• Diploma in Accountancy or a related field
• 5 years of accounting experience with 1 year of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
• Customer-focused with strong service attributes and a collaborative team spirit to achieve successful outcomes

Job Description

• Lead and manage the full spectrum of financial reporting and accounting operations
• Ensure the timely completion of management and statutory financial reporting, with a focus on delivering sound financial analysis
• Oversee cash flow planning and handle all bank-related matters
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting exercises to ensure accurate and reliable financial projections
• Develop and implement new financial policies and processes to align with evolving business needs while ensuring robust internal control
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to PSPM, ROP, and AML
• Manage annual insurance renewals and oversee coverage for various risks
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, tax consultants, and corporate secretarial agents
• Set up new entities and plan their respective accounting structures
• Handle ad-hoc finance duties as required by the business

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Finance or Accounting, with a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA
• 8 years of relevant working experience, with a strong foundation in finance and accounting operations
• Proven experience in operational accounting, including hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial management
• Team management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across departments and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
