Tire Development and release

a. Manage tire development projects for OE customers.
b. Act as a technical liaison between OE customers and Conti.
c. Support design strategy development for running and future OE tire development projects. Develop and execute submission strategies jointly with Tire Development Engineer, Subjective Handling Driver, Technical Account Manager and KAM.
d. Plan, organize, support, and attend joint tests with customers at different stages of OE tire development projects.
e. Manage prototype/sample tire orders of OE customers.
f. Manage OE customer specific requirements (i.e. tire performance, tire testing, testing correlation, tire quality, program specific requirements, tire marking requirements, tire shipping requirements…etc.), ensure all relevant requirements are incorporated in project scope, project deliverables, and Conti internal documents/procedures. Create and update customer specific requirement documents which are released/available in Conti systems for the assigned projects/accounts (e.g. CSR documents in POMS).
g. Support GE in developing OE customer specific test methods when needed.
h. Support/lead PPAP approval process for the assigned projects. Plan/coordinate/execute all internal/external release/approval tests, and administrative activities to get PPAP approval and release an OE tire for assigned customers for mass production. Prepare and collect all required documents/drawings to get OE engineering sign-off and PSW sign-off. Submit all documents to Technical Account Manager and/or KAM for review and approval.
i. Plan/coordinate/execute the activities with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure flawless launch of OE tires.
j. Maintain Conti and customer tools/databases to ensure all Conti and customer requirements are met.

Business Support

a. Support/lead account activities in preparation for technical reviews for running and future OE tire development projects.
b. Build/utilize trust based effective, mutual value creation focused relationships with key decision makers at OE customers.
c. Support RFQ and 5 Year Plan activities as required by KAM/Technical Account Manager.
d. Collect marketing intelligence (competitor/customer/market) to support account management to align account activities with OE customers’ needs to sustain and grow the business in line with OE PLT business unit strategy for the region/customers.
e. Support KAM/Technical Account Manager in management of R&D budget by minimizing/avoiding non-value adding tasks, and by continuous implementation of cost efficient best practices and lessons learned across all running functions/activities.
f. Take additional responsibilities as required by KAM or Technical Account Manager based on changing account activities, changing business/customer requirements and changing market conditions.

Quality

a. Lead/support customer complaint handling activities. Analyze, follow-up, and respond to customer complaints with support from account/regional quality manager(s), plant quality, and central quality teams to ensure timely resolution of quality problems through structured problem solving.
b. Maintain internal and external quality management and create CAT entries in complaint handling tools/databases/portals.
c. Share lessons learned with cross-functional team members to prevent repeat quality issues.
d. Support account/regional quality manager(s) and Technical Account Manager to develop and execute preventive actions to continuously improve Continental’s perceived quality performance by OE customers.
e. Monitor customer satisfaction and quality status through customer released data, report status to account management on a regular basis, lead/support action plans to close identified gaps. Support of risk and opportunity evaluation based on customer expectation
f. Support conformity of production testing activities for accounts responsible for, evaluate and report results to account management.
g. Monitor end of line test data (i.e. tire uniformity, tire balance, tire visuals) work with plant and central quality teams for continuous improvement.
h. Collect warranty performance data of the tires responsible for. Review the status with customers and account management regularly.
i. Lead/support account activities to ensure successful customer audits/visits of Continental facilities. Organize, support, and accompany plant audits in cooperation with plant quality manager and account/region quality manager(s). Track and Follow up of Action Plans; Submission of Self Assessment surveys to Customer 
Support/perform the site assessment of external warehouses and 3rd party tire and wheel assemblies as required.
j. Support plant quality and central quality organizations to keep customer specific (e.g. BIQS, Q1, VQE…etc.) certifications current.
k. Sharing joint responsibility for account activities in meeting IATF 16949 with PDT group leader, TAM and KAM.
l. Leading APQP process, Coordinate and Submit PPAP Documentation with Customer, Launch Management Coordinator.
m. Support FMEA, 8D, Control Plan, GT POMS documents related activities as a team member.
n. Providing of Customer Documentation to Continental Organization.
o.Translate CSR into Internal Specifications (PoMS), translate PSR into Internal Specifications (PoMS)

As our account manager, you need to develop and execute strategies and lead (sales) activities for performance & specialty products in line with the account plans, derived from the segment plan and marketing plan. Sales execution

As a Demand & Supply Planning Manager, you need to contribute to profitable growth of Business Group in both EBITDA and Cash Flow by optimizing supply chain performances, such as delivery reliability, inventory days on hand, potential obsolete, order fulfillment lead time, production lot size, and inbound/outbound logistic cost related to material fulfillment.

Manage external toll/buy-sell manufacturers in planning, scheduling, and material handling including raw material arrangement and receipt of finished goods to secure on-time in-full production and delivery to customers.

Your key responsibilities will be:

DEMAND PLANNING

1. Accountable for running monthly demand planning cycle, in cooperation with Account

Managers updating sales forecast.

2. Responsible for collecting demand forecast, performing assessment of constraint, and

updating restricted demand.

3. Responsible for monitoring forecast accuracy and maintaining its level in cooperation

with Account Managers.

SUPPLY PLANNING

4. Responsible for making monthly inventory & production plan based on updated sales

forecast, toll manufacturer’s production capacity, raw material supply, and other related

factors.

5. Responsible for monitoring blocked sales order and taking action.

6. Responsible for monitoring Supply Chain Delivery Reliability and analyzing the

problem/cause and implementing collective action.

7. Responsible for maintaining service level of fulfillment lead-time by defining MTS/MTO.

8. Responsible for optimizing production lot size based on demand and production cost.

9. Responsible for Raw Material planning, forecast release, call-off, and inbound handling.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

10. Accountable for inventory volume of production site and warehouse.

11. Support physical inventory count at production site and warehouse.

12. Responsible for reconciliation of inventory data at production site and warehouse.

13. Responsible for the volume of unfavorable stock and accountable for minimizing blocked

and potential obsolete stock.

MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT

14. Responsible for initiating material creation/change/deletion in system.

15. Responsible for maintaining material master-data related to planning in system.

TOLLER MANAGEMENT

16. Responsible for production order in system and validating invoice from toll

manufacturers at the end of every month.

17. Support Supplier evaluation for delivery related part.

·       Bachelor's degree or above in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or related fields.

·       At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with experience in demand planning or supply chain management preferred.

·       Familiarity with demand planning tools and software, such as SAP systems, forecasting models, etc.

·       Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, able to understand and address complex market demands.

·       Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to effectively manage cross-departmental collaboration and coordination.

·       Leadership skills and team management experience, able to motivate team members and drive team goals.

Your Career

As our Systems Engineer Manager, you are the technical leader for your District Systems Engineering team. You will work closely with the District Sales Manager and, along with your team, build relationships with your customers with the goal of helping them detect and prevent advanced cyber attacks and breaches. Our customers need guidance on what applications to deploy from our platform. Your guidance, expertise, and mentorship of your team of SEs will keep them ahead of the latest cyberthreats and staying on the leading edge of prevention.

We are looking for a leader to develop our sales teams, providing training and technical support as a product expert. Additionally, you will provide feedback to the product management team on new feature requests and product improvements based on what you learn from your customer base. Salesforce - Procurement team is looking to hire a Sourcing Category Manager/Contract Management Operational Leader to manage Salesforce In-direct services sourcing commodities, such as HR, Professional services, Real Estate and Workplace Services(REWS), Marketing, and Meetings & Events (excluding IT and Tech-sourcing) to take our service to the next level at Salesforce. This position is located in Tokyo and report to Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Tokyo. 

Performance Objectives:

• Driving the development and execution of Sourcing strategies related to the category spend areas, including analyzing spend data, market research, formulate strategies to optimize and rationalize spend, recommend and run RFx, and negotiate contract terms with suppliers.
• Overseeing and understanding key metrics and analytics to provide solution to current processes to find ways to be more efficient.
• Navigating and processing complex spreadsheets or datasets, and be able to provide insights and recommendations based on data analytics. 
• Being familiar with the Source-to-Pay (S2P) Process and managing its operation according to internal policies and requisites with a sense of Compliance.
  • Managing contractors (Temporary Staff)
  • Driving operational improvements
  • Managing review and approve/reject Purchase Requisitions
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and manage them properly in line with internal policies and Salesforce tools.
     
• Influencing strategies and decisions and leading complex, highly visible, negotiations with strategic and key suppliers, including the establishment of service levels, key performance indicators, price and term negotiations in order to mitigate risk and increase cost savings.
• Managing all engagements and relationships with major suppliers, and drive quarterly business reviews with key suppliers, in collaboration with key business stakeholders and ensure their service levels.
• Establishing and expanding relationships with Salesforce business stakeholders, and collaborate with Legal, Ethics, Accounting, Finance & Strategy, AP, Risk management as necessary.

Position Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Global Procurement, experience managing a Purchasing system, indirect purchasing category, and reviewing, analyzing, drafting and negotiating contract terms. 
• Strong command of written and speaking in Japanese and English. 
• Polished negotiation skills, knowledge/experience of supplier management, project management, strategic sourcing practices.
• Analytical skills managing and discerning data & formulating strategies. 
• Ownership and being able to proactively drive initiatives, while also being a team player.
• Mindset focused on continuous process improvement and a growth mindset.
• Work well under pressure, ability to multi-task and skilled time manager that is comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Comfortable making presentations at Executive Level and establishing relationships with different internal and external stakeholders such as business stakeholders and suppliers.
• Knowledge of salesforce is desired but not required.
