The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) journey-level mechanic that inspects, machines, welds, and repairs aircraft parts and components, to design and manufacture support equipment used in all types of aircraft maintenance, and to train reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

DUTIES:

• Prepares, and coordinates medical requirements for contract services and other commodities, for the MTF

Food Preparation and Service

• Assist in food preparation with tasks such as peeling potatoes; cutting, sorting and washing vegetables and fruits; assembling sandwiches; and measuring and weighing ingredients.
• Stocks food service carts with appropriate utensils, plates, bowls, food and beverages, as required for family style dining in the classrooms or activity areas.
• Wraps, arranges, and/or packages items for serving to children and youth.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to perform a variety of duties in support of airdrop training to include the operation of one or more types of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles; the operation of forklift and K-loaders; the rigging of loads and packing of cargo parachutes.

Duties:

1. Drives tractor-trailers and/or other vehicles typically having a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds.
2. Operates one or more electric, LPG, or diesel powered forklift trucks to facilitate loading and unloading duties.
3. Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing of vehicles, and performing inspection checklists to ensure safe and proper operation.
4. Packs and maintains cargo and extraction parachutes.
5. Maintains records and documents actions, such as operator inspection checklists/forms and accident/incident reports. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
