Maintaining and servicing warehouse tool, machinery, and trucks
Moving, counting, and organising stock
Ensuring a clean and safe workhouse for staff to work in, removing waste & empty pallets
Supplying empty pallets to production
Checking, inspecting & labelling goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and of acceptable quality

Assistant manager required for a busy bakery shop in Penarth. 31 hours per week over 5 days (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat usually), hours between 7am - 4.30pm.

Role involves serving customers, making sandwiches, baking pasties and Welsh cakes, cleaning, managing the shop one day per week to cover the managers' day off and working up to 5 full days to cover the managers holidays (and sickness absence).

Applicants ideally have retail experience, preferably with food handling knowledge/experience. Applicants do not require management experience however it is always beneficial.

This shop is a fast paced environment, where you will be on your feet and busy all day. All training is provided, including food hygiene training if not already held. Uniform provided, staff meals provided free of charge, staff discount and pension contributions.
