1. Program Planning and Leadership. The Director, Center for Disruptive Technology and Future Warfare (CDTFW), reports to the INSS Director. He/she leads and manages CDTFW research, operations, budget, and personnel. The incumbent assures that CDTFW's research is methodologically rigorous, cutting-edge, and impactful. He/she develops and manages research and academic initiatives related to disruptive technology and future warfare and helps to effectively disseminate publications and research products to relevant DoD and U.S. government stakeholders to ensure the strongest reach and impact. The incumbent leads, manages, and coordinates across the NDU academic and research enterprise, as well as with DoD and interagency stakeholder organizations. He/she creates and maintains working relationships with Department of Defense stakeholders, as well as relevant think tank, academic, and private sector actors.

The incumbent's focus and responsibilities in leading and managing a center that produces cutting-edge impactful research on disruptive technology and the implications for defense and national security policy and strategy include the following:

• Conducts and supervises cutting edge research on disruptive technology and future warfare, to include artificial intelligence, autonomous and semi-autonomous weapons systems, and assesses their impact on defense and national strategy and policy.
• Supports JPME at NDU through teaching, guest lecturing, developing curricula, mentoring students, and/or supporting academic programs with the aim of developing and preparing students for their roles as national security leaders in an unpredictable and complex world.
• Develops and implements initiatives that enhance the reach and impact of INSS research for DOD stakeholders and the larger national security enterprise.
• Interacts with senior leaders at DoD and other USG agencies, as well as with private and public academic and research institutions to develop research partnerships and other shared research/publication initiatives.
• Engages stakeholders within the Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and other DOD agencies regarding research projects and directed studies. This may include engagement and initiatives with U.S. allies and partners, as directed.
• Supports JPME at NDU through teaching, guest lecturing, developing curricula, mentoring students, and/or supporting academic programs with the aim of developing and preparing students for their roles as national security leaders in an unpredictable and complex world.

2. Resource Management and Development. Acts as a fiscal steward of public funds and sustains a relevant business model that aligns with the NDU-INSS mission, increased economic challenges, and fiscal oversight. The incumbent oversees all budget and programming activities and determines the need for budget, manpower, and other resource changes in coordination with the INSS Director and INSS Dean of Administration based on current and long-term stakeholder priorities. The Director collaborates with other INSS Center directors to plan and execute Center priorities and activities.

3. Personnel Management and EEO. As Director of CDTFW, the incumbent directs a staff of Research Fellows and ensures that Center hiring actions and/or contracts are managed in a timely manner and comply with regulation to best support the NDU-INSS mission. The incumbent is responsible for planning, programming, and directing staff activities; assigning functions and responsibilities for Center fellows to achieve short-and long-range INSS goals. He/she recommends selection, nomination, evaluation, and renewal of all Title 10 employees within the Center, holds Center research fellows accountable based on annual INSS performance standards, and provides professional development opportunities, awards, and other employee incentives and recognition where applicable. 4. Organizational Representation/Liaison. In support of the INSS Director and in coordination with the NDU Academic Affairs Office where relevant, the incumbent liaises with high-level visitors from USG agencies, foreign governments, civilian and military academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, professional associations, and others.

As an Assistant Director Regulatory Affairs, you will:

• assist the AD SPI in the overall regulatory management of OFAC programs, implementing economic and trade sanctions imposed by the United States.
• in consultation and coordination with the Chief Counsel (Foreign Assets Control) and Assistant Director for Policy, direct the formulation and revision of all regulations implementing economic sanctions programs administered by OFAC.

The Chief Economist will serve as a member of the MCC senior staff and a senior member of the Department of Policy and Evaluation (DPE) management team, reporting to the DPE Vice President with a dotted line to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Chief Economist:

• Communicates the agency's economic identity, goals, approaches and the findings of its analysis to a wide variety of audiences, including highest level government officials, that may have varying degrees of expertise.
• Serves as a permanent member of the Investment Management Committee (IMC), the senior leadership body within MCC that reviews and advise the CEO on the viability, risks, and likely economic impact of Compact and Threshold programs while remaining the agency's consistent and independent voice on the economic logic underpinning its investments.
• Serves as an advisor to the DPE Vice President and Office of the CEO, providing executive-level leadership and expert advice to MCC leadership and senior management teams on the agency's investment portfolio, results agenda, and broader strategic agenda and direction.
• Ensures the economic analytical toolkit, guidance, and processes are both consistent with the agency's evolving needs and reflect ongoing innovation in professional and academic circles.
• Provides technical advice and guidance to staff economists who encounter emerging technical challenges, or barriers to communicating the implications of their findings.
• Supervises policy advisors in DPE, who will support the Chief Economist in analyzing economic issues and providing advice to DPE VP as well as in developing and updating current policies, practices, and methods in relation to the analysis of economic development in low- and middle-income countries.
• Works closely with the Managing Director for Economic Analysis division and with DPE's Deputy Vice President for Evaluation to ensure that the division is able to access, acquire, and maintain adequate collective expertise on pertinent emerging issues.
• Collaborates with the Vice President of DPE, the Office of the CEO and other Departments to offer independent professional judgement and expert inputs on emerging issues in international development and to develop strategic communications with stakeholders outside the agency.
• Establishes and promotes cooperation with other donors and stakeholders by sharing economic analyses and supporting joint work. Represents the agency with partner country governments, donors, the private sector, NGOs, academia, and within the US Government interagency.
• Leads and recruits for the Economic Advisory Council (EAC) and hosts bi-annual meetings in pursuit of strategic agency needs and guides the preparation of background materials for the meetings.
• Leads the formulation, dissemination, revision and archiving of MCC policies and guidance for the design and implementation of economic analysis in the Agency.

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Essentia Executive team and drive the Trust’s strategic ambitions in South East London. This pivotal role is responsible for providing leadership in delivering the Trust’s capital development plans, compliance and assurance functions, property investments, and space management strategy. As a key member of the executive team, the postholder will oversee the planning, design, and delivery of healthcare facilities to meet the clinical, research, and administrative needs of the Trust, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

The Deputy Director, Highly Specialised Services leads on multiple projects and programmes relating to highly specialised services. These are often complex streams of work without pre-determined outcomes, involving the development of matrix teams to support the work and relationships with stakeholders within the national specialised commissioning team, other parts of NHS England including regional teams, ICBs, providers, clinicians, networks and patient representatives.

The specific responsibilities include:

· Leading on the commissioning of 80 highly specialised services and on implementing innovative treatments

· Leading the Highly Specialised Commissioning Team including setting and ensuring the delivery of the annual work programme for the Highly Specialised Commissioning Team.

· Leading on NHS England’s delivery of the England Rare Diseases Action Plan

· Mobilising services to deliver highly specialised services treatments recommended by NICE, including those accepted on the Innovative Medicines Fund, and through NHS England clinical commissioning policies.

· With Regional colleagues, implementing the new operating model for retained highly specialised services

· In partnership with NHSBT and DHSC, implementing the recommendations of the Organ Utilisation Group report

· Undertaking provider selection exercises to select or reselect expert providers.

· Overseeing the commissioning of services to deliver ATMPs, whether these are in highly specialised services or not

· Providing commissioning leadership to the development of service specifications and the setting of national standards; working with the clinical advisory structure to ensure appropriate clinical input.
