As an Assistant Director Regulatory Affairs, you will:
- assist the AD SPI in the overall regulatory management of OFAC programs, implementing economic and trade sanctions imposed by the United States.
- in consultation and coordination with the Chief Counsel (Foreign Assets Control) and Assistant Director for Policy, direct the formulation and revision of all regulations implementing economic sanctions programs administered by OFAC.
- be responsible for the management and direction of all operations of the Regulatory Affairs Division in leading and coordinating the planning, development, and implementation of the regulations for U.S. sanctions programs.
- oversee the Treasury Department's Presidential Documents process with respect to economic sanctions.
- play a leading role in shaping OFAC's activities in the development of new Executive Orders and regulatory programs to carry out new sanctions imposed by Congress or the President or to reflect changes in U.S. foreign policy with respect to existing sanctions programs.
