A new role has arisen for a Vocational Coach in Brick Laying. This opportunity will see you coaching students to develop and improve their knowledge, skills and behaviours, unlocking their potential to maximise their own performance to enable them to achieve their current and future aspirations.

You will ensure effective curriculum implementation through preparing schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans taking account of employer requirements and progression aspirations. You will also provide coaching and support to students that promotes the development of behaviours necessary for success in the future ensuring they understand their rights and responsibilities. The role will see you participating in the interviewing, enrolment and induction of students.

Experience of designing and delivering training in either a college training facility and/or in a student’s place of work or a similar environment would be desirable.

To be successful, you must possess proven vocational knowledge with a minimum Level 3 qualification in Bricklaying, along with the ability to support the development of student’s English, Maths and Digital Skills. Training in other areas of trade areas (multi ops) is also desirable. You must also have TAQA (301, 302 or 303) or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards in line with contractual requirements) combined with GCSE A* - C in English and Maths qualifications (Grades 9 – 4) or equivalent.

We are looking to appoint two Senior Clinical Fellows (SCF) to the Department of Anaesthetics and Intensive Care.

The post-holder will work in collaboration with the existing Anaesthetists to provide a high quality, progressive and professional Anaesthetic service in a broad range of surgical specialties. The successful candidate will for the initial 3 months cover the First on-call rota followed with the potential for the subsequent nine months to be spent on the registrar level rota. There will be an opportunity to progress in training by undertaking ST3 modules like Critical care and Obstetrics along with an opportunity for exposure in Colorectal, Bariatrics, Pre assessment and Chronic pain and participate in Second oncalls on Maternity and ICU over the subsequent two years. The appointee will be able to engage with quality improvement projects, Research projects, Simulation and education based on individuals’ interests.

This is an opportunity to join a friendly, cohesive department currently consisting of 30 Consultants, 10 Specialty doctors, 2 SpR (Higher) 9 Clinical fellows, 9 WTE CT1&2, two WTE FY1, together with Advanced Critical Care Practitioners, specialist nursing team, in Acute Pain and Perioperative Medicine.

KEY DUTIES OF THE POST
• Cover Anaesthetics and ICU as per the needs of the service.

General Information

The Anaesthetics Department is situated in the Trusts Outpatient Department. It is conveniently located close to surgical daycase and the Family Health and Diagnostics theatre complexes. It comprises of multiple shared rooms for consultant office space and an open plan secretarial space along with an integrated kitchenet in the same footprint. It provides a pleasant working environment with easy access to the Anaesthetic secretaries. There are hot desking areas close to Theatres and the ICU with a dedicated lecture/seminar room and a kitchen.

To be eligible for these posts you must be eligible to secure GMC registration with Licence to Practice, ideally have completed the Post graduate training in the country of origin at Core Training level.

Applicants should be aware that regardless of Country of Origin, their ability to communicate in written and spoken English to the standard required to carry out the post will be assessed during the selection process.

The Senior Clinical Fellow will work on the General Critical Care Unit for a period of six months. There may be the opportunity to extend the post at the end of the term. This will depend upon staffing vacancies and satisfactory progress by the Fellow.

The post holder’s role can be adapted to suit the individual interests and training needs of the candidate. This may include spending time in operating theatre keeping Anaesthetics skills up to speed.

Education

All clinical fellows are allocated a trained Educational Supervisor (ES) who will oversee their progress and serve as a mentor for training and other needs. We would expect the individual to meet with the ES both formally (every 3 months) to record the progress and informally as frequently as is possible.

The clinical fellow will be fully supervised by consultants during the day shift. Overnight, there is supervision by a resident senior trainee /middle grade and an on call ITU consultant.

I am seeking an established Registered Manager to oversee a beautiful Adult's Residential service in Walsall, West Midlands. You will provide direct support and guidance to a team of Support Workers and Seniors - who provide support to adults living with a learning disability, autism, complex needs and behaviours of concern. You will promote a positive culture within your service and will ensure delivery of person-centred care in line with best practices and current guidance.

The ideal candidate for this role will:
* Have experience of working within a Management position for a minimum of 2 years.
* Have experience working closely with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, ideally within residential homes.
* Have an NVQ in Health & Social Care Level 3/4/5, or be working towards this.

A generous salary is on offer for this role up to £32,000 and a generous annual leave entitlement of 27 days plus 8 additional statutory days.

We are seeking to recruit a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. At Christ Church, we passionately believe in nurturing our pupils and providing the best possible support in order to enable every pupil to grow and flourish. We have established our own enhanced learning provision in order to provide an adapted environment and curriculum for pupils with SEND. We are looking for a skilled TA who is passionate about supporting vulnerable pupils and providing bespoke emotional literacy and self-regulation support for pupils with an EHCP. The successful candidate may already be a qualified ELSA or someone who desires to undertake this qualification as the next part of their professional development. The successful person will work alongside our existing Enhanced School Provision team to support pupils in a 1:1 role. Previous experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs is essential. We are looking for a candidate who has particular skills in the following areas: Emotional Literacy Self-regulation including knowledge of Zones of Regulation Anxiety Demand avoidance Autism Sensory needs The successful candidate will require a good standard of education, normally evidenced by 3 or more GCSEs (including Mathematics and English) at Grade C or above or other equivalents. The successful candidate should possess NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants/ other relevant qualification or minimum 3 years relevant experience of working with children in an educational context.
