This position is responsible for assisting the GCS Manager and/ or Small Tools by maintaining a quality equipment fleet year-round, including fueling, inspections, annual maintenance support, rental inventory control, documentation and customer service to ensure an efficient and productive operation.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Inspects and determines maintenance needed for all incoming equipment. Performs on-site maintenance as set by regional requirements.
Performs all refueling as needed and maintains fuel storage as dictated by regional requirements.
Communicates daily with manager and maintains records and invoices on parts and supplies to assist in the proper prioritization and billing of repairs.
Perform inspections on all equipment prior to issuance to ensure tools are in good operating order before delivery/ will call to internal or external customer.
Develop and maintain good relationships with Granite suppliers/ maintenance providers to ensure timely and accurate receipt of parts/ equipment.
Facilitate a safety first attitude in all work to ensure Company safety standards are met.
Coordinate mechanical support for the field when necessary to mitigate potential down time of GCS equipment.
Support processing of all DMV paperwork for GCS equipment to ensure proper documentation is in place for all GCS inventory.
Inspect and maintain all yard-specific equipment (i.e. forklift) to ensure safe working order.
Support GCS customer service functions as needed.
Education
Work Experience
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
General understanding of parts, inventory, ordering, and construction.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be customer-service oriented.
MS Office proficiency preferred.
Experience with point of sale/ rental management software preferred.

Base Hourly Wage Range :
: $19.00 $24.00
