As a GS-0185-12, SOCIAL WORKER, you will:

Actively supports the commander's leadership team in addressing the psychological health of their installation. Provides strategic planning and leadership to implement an ANG comprehensive psychological health strategic plan. Assist leadership in understanding the interface between psychological health and operational readiness, and the role of the DPH in developing and helping leadership apply psychological health solutions to functional/operational problems. Encourage and coach unit leadership to actively promote psychological health and help-seeking as part of the wingman culture at the wing. Consult with leadership on workplace issues identified by unit leadership, (e.g., unit cohesiveness, conflict in the unit, unit stressors, etc).Conduct annual training for unit leadership on psychological health issues and the ANGPHP. Serves as the Air National Guard community liaison with military and non-military agencies to promote timely information exchange, coordinate collaborative prevention efforts, and establish and maintain an extensive array of resources, associations, and community partnerships. Participates in community activities to incorporate complex strategies that enhance community strengths, reduces broad-based community needs, implements community problem solving methods, and forges community connections so as to promote psychologically healthy lifestyles.

Conducts assessments, routine and crisis evaluations, psycho-diagnostic assessments, provides short-term, evidence-based problem resolution strategies and services. Provides on-site and telephonic access to psychological health assessments and individual consultation to facilitate coordination of clinical, counseling, and other services promoting the psychological health of NG members and their families. The DPH will conduct command-directed evaluations (CDEs). CDEs are governed by DODD 6490.1, DODI 6490.4, AFI 44-109, and AFI 44-172. Applies professional knowledge of the principles, theories, procedures, and practices of social work to conduct needs assessments and/or intake evaluations on a limited but routine and emergency basis in accordance with applicable USAF and DoD guidelines. On occasion, conducts comprehensive psycho-diagnostic evaluations to help clients resolve problems and to address more complex (interrelated bio psychosocial) diagnostic issues. Prepares written evaluation reports and yield diagnoses from the current version of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Accomplishes clinical intake interviews with clients, to include family history, biopsychosocial history, developmental and health histories, and presenting problems together with any relevant secondary information.

Designs, develops, coordinates, and implements prevention and community outreach and education programs. Implements community organization strategies in collaboration with the Integrated Delivery System (IDS) Team and other key organizations to increase awareness of psychological health, develop coordinated plans for reducing risk factors for individuals and within the community, and build and enhance a general culture that promotes psychological health and wellness. Develops and provides access to primary prevention services to inform and educate base leadership and the ANG community at large about the dynamics, treatment, and life skills and behaviors associated with psychological illness and methods to improve wellness.
Responsible for marketing and marketing evaluation activities. Serves as primary consultant and advisor on methods to successfully market the ANG PHP.

Provides professional consultation, advice, education, and training to other military and non-military health care professionals, medical personnel, military commanders/senior leaders, wing personnel and their family members, and community agencies concerning primary and secondary prevention programs. Provides consultation to the commanders and operational leadership to promote well- being, improve resilience, and increase personal and unit combat readiness. Apprises the NG leadership of the status of psychological health in the local beneficiary population, and the degree to which needs for prevention, early intervention, and treatment are being met.

Prepares agenda for meetings, compiles statistical data, and prepares a variety of recurring reports. Develops meeting agendas. Tracks suicide prevention, maltreatment and other behavioral health program data, prepares reports, and participates in writing narrative interpretations of analyses. Coordinates with personnel at installation, major command, AFMOA, and higher level command to meet various reporting requirements.

As an IT Specialist (Network Services), GS-2210-11, you will:

Design and engineer IT networks carried over various transmission systems such as multi-channel satellite, troposphere scatter systems, Line-Of-Sight (LOS) RF radios, LOS laser radios, and cable systems. Engineers and designs router-to-router connections utilizing military and commercial protocols, switch-to-switch trunking, circuit configurations through military and commercial multiplexers, and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM). Develops plans for employment of communications systems to support operations in support of training and the deployed warfighter.

Plan and design Wide Area Networks (WANs) consisting of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Military Specification (MILSPEC) components to operate IAW accepted Information Technology (IT) security policies using network planning tools. Determines operational, technical and support requirements for the location, installation, operation and maintenance of network equipment and systems. Coordinates and conducts operational tests and evaluations of designed networks to optimize capabilities. Reviews and analyzes data, makes technical judgments, and prepares decisions and recommendations concerning the quality, acceptability, and/or need for changes/improvements.

Utilize a broad knowledge of IT concepts, principles, methods and practices to identify, coordinate, and implement actions required to provide network services that support a requesting agency's requirements. Identifies potential network and transmission deficiencies in planned or current operational networks.

Manage frequency assignment and control of operating frequencies. Provides technical guidance and direction for different aspects of radio frequency spectrum analysis to the warfighter. Determines the compatibility of frequency assignments for fixed station and/or mobile radio, radar, satellite links, and other systems used by the military. Coordinates frequency assignments with DOD, MAJCOM, ANG, base, and unit spectrum managers. Conducts transmission path analysis (path profiling) with various computerized programs. As a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST (Title 32), GS-1035-9, you will carry-out a wide range of public affairs assignments that include social media, media operations, community engagement, command information, communication planning, contingency/crisis response, environmental, security, policy review, and public affairs resource management in support of the mission and the commander's priorities.

As a Base Services Manager, GS-0301-11, you will evaluate, plan, organize, and direct Base Services functions in support of federal, state, and local missions. The incumbent serves as supervisor and primary point-of-contact for Services-related programs, missions, functions, activities, and events for the wing and its assigned Geographically Separated Units (GSU).

As a IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-09/11, you will develop, modify, and test overall system backup and recovery strategies for assigned systems. Serve as a technical focal point for the installation and configuration of hardware and software on personal computers and for personal data assistants associated with assigned systems. Serve as a systems administrator responsible for planning, coordinating, modifying, implementing, and troubleshooting in order to meet customer needs. Serve as a technical focal point on multiple operating systems and computer platforms. Provide technical assistance and advice to personnel involved in system design, programming, database design, and modifying commercially developed software. Analyze, evaluate, and recommend hardware/software changes to various computer systems.

(1) Responsible for the accurate interpretation of numerous manufacturer drawings, specifications, operating instructions, and test procedures, to troubleshoot, calibrate, align and repair a variety of highly complex pieces of powered support equipment. This includes identifying, repairing or replacing numerous electronic (both digital and analog) components. It also includes the repair of composite materials and state of the art gas compressor turbines and electronically controlled engines. Troubleshoots, repairs, adjusts and aligns down sized powered support equipment. Uses a variety of sophisticated testers, such as analyzers, digital meters, oscilloscopes and other measuring devices to determine repair requirements. Corrects unusual maintenance problems, by interpreting a variety of technical data such as tables, charts, formulas, color codes, wiring diagrams, and schematic symbols. Does circuit analyses, considers integrated circuit relationships, and applies electronic principles in order to fault-isolate and repair the various digital devices contained in highly complex powered support equipment.

(2) Performs inspections, preventive maintenance, servicing, repair, and adjustments on complex rotary diesel engines.

(3) Must independently determine work sequences, specifications, and special procedures to be used to fault-isolate and repair unusual problems in various pieces of powered support equipment. Conducts classes to train maintenance personnel in operations, test procedures, and troubleshooting requirements of highly complex powered support equipment.

(4) Performs intermediate-level maintenance on powered support equipment and non-powered AGE. This includes working on cryogenic equipment, engine and generator changes, removing, repairing, and overhauling of accessories, and rebuilding of units. Engine rebuilding such as removal and replacement of crankshafts, pistons, and other integral parts. Replaces, checks and adjusts valves, bearings, cams, clutches, bushings, springs, armatures, pushrods, exhaust manifolds, tubing, hose and defective wiring. Diagnoses gas turbine malfunctions, using visual and auditory senses, test equipment and applicable technical publications; makes repairs, removes, disassembles and assembles components and sub-systems.

(5) Troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, modifies and operates aerospace ground equipment such as AC and DC power generators, various types of internal combustion engines, air compressors, blowers, hydraulic test stands, cabin leakage testers, portable diesel engine driven generators, emergency lighting units, de-icers, heaters, load banks, hydrostatic testers, cryogenic carts, decontamination units, thermal bath, vacuum pumps, flow meters, lavatory service trailers, air conditioners and various pieces of non-powered AGE. Performs required TCTOs and other modifications on powered support equipment. Performs corrosion control duties such as inspection, cleaning, stripping, sanding, priming and painting of AGE. Performs inspections, calibration and repair on test and shop equipment.

(6) Performs maintenance data collection, and prepares other required forms. Maintains Technical Orders, Technical Order Files, commercial technical publications and other directives pertinent to the section. Submits Technical Order Improvement Reports, Material Deficiency Reports and suggestions when required. Ensures that all waste products are properly disposed of and the effective waste minimization processes are used.

(7) Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluation such as ORI, IG and UE inspections, mobility, and command support exercises. May be required to perform such additional duties as structural fire fighting, aircraft fire/crash/rescue duty, security guard, snow removal, munitions loading and handling, heavy equipment operator, maintenance of facilities and equipment, or serve as a member of a team to cope with natural disasters or civil emergencies.(8) Participates and assists in conducting the necessary safety program for the Aerospace Ground Equipment activity.

As an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), GS-2210-12, you will perform the following duties:

1. Serves as an Information Technology Specialist providing Cybersecurity for an Air National Guard Wing's SAP or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) infrastructure. Operates within the DoD, Air Force and NGB security procedures, operations, and practices. Ensures systems are operated and maintained IAW AFI 17-101, Joint SAP Implementation Guidance (JSIG), and all applicable command and DOD security directives and procedures. Monitors DoD information security bulletins and notifications as they relate to Information Security Vulnerability Alerts (ISVAs). Coordination is required with peer Wing contacts, MAJCOM elements, and commercial vendors. Incumbent is required to ensure compliance with Federal, DoD, Air Force, MAJCOM Information Assurance/Cyber Security policies. Utilizes extensive knowledge of all areas of automation security to establish operating standards and procedures for the installation Information Security Program. Coordinates requirements with the responsible personnel and tracks suspense for completing required actions and reports virus problems in accordance with established procedures. Ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and networks by planning, analyzing, developing, and implementing information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in advising, posturing, preparing and auditing the organization for Wing Self Inspection Program, Compliance Inspections, and accreditations. May serve in a team lead role for assessment teams, such as a Site Assistance Visit (SAV). (60%)

2. Coordinates with Information System Security Managers at the Wing and MAJCOM level to verify or clarify information pertinent to cybersecurity/Information Assurance procedures. Ensures all IS and COTS/GOTS within the enclave are properly certified and accredited in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and configuration management policies and practices prior to installing devices/systems. The incumbent has program oversight responsibility for networks and information systems residing within Wing SAP facilities (Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICs) and SCIF facilities for Intelligence ISSO). Duties include ensuring certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation and implementation meets AFI 17-101, JSIG, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards for DoD Information Technology. Validates all aspects of RMF are implemented for all assets connected, or to be added, to the local network are accepted and approved by the appropriate Designated Approving Authorities (DAAs). As an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, WG-8852-12 (TITLE 32) you will, direct, monitor or perform overall maintenance, servicing, inspections and documentation for one or more aircraft. Review and analyze maintenance data; determines if criteria are sufficient to provide adequate test, troubleshooting and repair procedures; devises and recommends tests, procedural changes, or data corrections. Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Associate to the Director, Operational Execution, NGB/A2/3/6/10/X, responsible for formulating program goals, plans, and policies for the directorate's mission. Serves as the primary advisor to the Director, NGB/A2/3/6/10/X on all Readiness, wartime, and domestic operations issues. Plans, develops, and directs advisory and support services for the command-wide directorate mission. Serves as a recognized authority in the analysis and direction of operational plans and execution programs and issues. This is a key management position in which the incumbent is required to formulate, determine, and influence policy.

Duties:

• As Associate Director of Operational Plans and Execution Directorate at the ANGRC plans, organizes, and advises the management of activities for the directorate with the Director.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

1. Monitors, maintains, and recommends optimum voice and data network systems configuration and architecture, to include administering and programming the system's messaging, broadcasting, automated attendants, load capacity, call restrictions, and classes of services. Performs all software upgrades and troubleshooting of the operating system and switch hardware using appropriate software solutions or diagnostic equipment. Programs and uses remote management tools to administer and operate active networks. As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Specialist, GS-2101-11, you will administer refresher and advance training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instruct and evaluate AOC assigned technician personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC weapons systems of record. Instruct and evaluate enlisted AOC specialties to become instructors. Instruct same to function within established joint doctrinal principles to support the planning and prosecution of theater level joint operations. Monitor progress during training and advise when AOC personnel are ready for positional certification. Interview assigned enlisted AOC personnel to determine operational background in their respective weapons systems/specialties. Prescribe type, sequence, and extent of required training. Perform as instructor and/or examiner, evaluating and examining AOC personnel to determine preparation for the application of aerospace force/operations, proficiency during actual operations, instructional ability, technical competence, and post operations critique. (4.) Performs in-depth analysis of automated and manual systems related to proposals for change, in order to develop or modify information systems to meet tactical network user requirements. As a Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic, WG-5803-10, you will perform repairs, adjust, overhauls, performs major repairs, and maintenance on military and commercial designed heavy mobile equipment and special purpose vehicles. Inspects repairs, overhauls and tests major systems including gasoline, diesel, electric powered hybrid, multi-fuel, turbine, and other types of internal combustion engines, which may be turbo-charged or blower assisted, automatic or manual transmissions, including those with power take offs, cross-drive transmissions, hydraulic, electric, pneumatic systems and controls, fluid pumping systems, turrets, winches and four wheel steering systems. Systematically analyzes malfunctions and the cause of mechanical failure by means of visual and auditory checks, uses computer-controlled test equipment, engine analyzers, compression testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and pressure gauges in order to determine the exact nature of extent of repairs or adjustments necessary to complete work. Use specialized diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems in complex state-of-the-art electric and electronic systems to identify and replace defective components such as computer control modules, sensors, solenoids, digitized components, and circuits. Develop or improvise methods, alter parts, and make repairs in the absence of technical guidelines. Modify parts to fit, or improvises modifications to equipment to correct recurring malfunctions. Makes design modifications to meet special requirements, make adjustment or performs tests. Removes, disassembles overhauls, modifies, adjusts, and repairs, engines, transmissions, or sub-assemblies in accordance with the proper procedures and specifications. Reassembles engines, transmissions, and sub-assemblies, makes adjustments, tests and reinstalls in vehicles and equipment. Determines serviceability by operational driving test.
