Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Freight Forwarding / Transportation
- Position Title: Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding)
- Working Location: Jurong East
- Working Hours: 5.25 days (Monday to Friday 9 AM - 6 PM, Alternate Saturdays half day)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,000 + AWS + Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment schedules, bookings, and document preparation required for international shipping (air, sea, and road transport).
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments, processing orders, and providing quotes.
- Work closely with customs brokers to help clear goods through customs, providing necessary documentation and information as needed.
- Monitor shipments from the point of origin to the final destination, proactively communicating any delays and managing client expectations.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions to enhance their logistics experience.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- Experience in Shipping/Logistics within the freight forwarding industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and negotiations diplomatically.
- Basic understanding of international trade, shipping regulations, and documentation.
- Ability to problem-solve and provide timely resolution to customer issues.
