You will be a Consultant in General and Specialist medicine at the Royal Oldham Hospital. You will be expected to provide clinical leadership, diagnosis, management, and treatment for patients with a broad spectrum of medical needs; act as an expert resource for medical, nursing, and other health care professionals across the Trust footprint; and be an active champion of high-quality care. Part of the wider New Bridge Multi Academy Trust (MAT), New Bridge School is a generic special needs school for pupils and students between the ages of 11 and 19 across three sites within Oldham. The main school operates across two sites; the 11-16 age range at our Roman Road campus in Hollinwood and the 16-19 age range at our Learning Centre site on St. Martin’s Road, Fitton Hill.

The school has an Outstanding rated provision which caters for 380 pupils with a wide range of SEND, from moderate learning difficulties to profound and multiple learning difficulties, including severe and complex learning difficulties. The school also caters for pupils with physical disabilities, multisensory impairments, visual impairments, hearing impairments and specific conditions including autism spectrum condition. All pupils have an EHC plan.

We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and efficient cleaner at our New Bridge Learning Centre site based at Fitton Hill, Oldham. The role involves general cleaning duties such as wiping down tables and surfaces, cleaning floors and toilets and using standard cleaning equipment such as mops and a vacuum cleaner. The successful candidate will be a member of a small team of cleaning staff and will need to be available to assist with a deeper clean of their particular site during the school holidays.

Previous experience is essential although full training will be given. The successful candidate will be passionate about creating a welcoming environment through good hygiene standards. Key elements for any candidate are excellent attendance and reliability.

This is a part time post for 10 hours per week worked on a full year basis. Shifts are either: 6.30 am 8.30 am or 3.30pm 5.30pm (Monday to Friday). Actual hours will be negotiated with the successful candidate. Please note that all staff may be required to work flexibly across the Group when needed.
