Job Summary:
In the role of Business Development Lead for Lifelong Learning Solutions, you will hold a pivotal leadership position responsible for driving the growth and success of our lifelong learning initiatives within the B2C sector. Your responsibilities will include leading an already high-performing team, overseeing Business Development, Programme development, nurturing training partnerships, and implementing innovative CET (Continuing Education and Training) strategies to ensure sustained expansion and impact. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of providing accessible and relevant lifelong learning opportunities to individuals seeking to enhance their skills, acquire future-ready competencies, and advance their careers.
Responsibilities:
1. Programme Development and Enhancement for Reskilling and Upskilling:
- Oversee the development, customization, and refinement of continuous education and lifelong learning Programmes to meet the evolving needs of adult learners.
- Prioritize the Programme portfolio in accordance with market dynamics and industry needs, while guiding marketing, inside sales, operations, and outreach teams to optimize their resources for maximum efficiency and performance.
2. Sales Process Optimization and Lead Management:
- Develop and implement a robust sales funnel process aimed at streamlining sales and marketing efforts, including lead qualification, management, and ensuring prompt follow-up, professional engagement, and conversion.
- Spearhead sales and marketing campaigns in collaboration with business and delivery partners, intermediaries, University outreach teams, and demand generation teams to foster strong and thriving sales pipelines.
3. CRM System Utilization:
- Serve as a proficient user of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, effectively tracking leads, customer interactions, and sales progress.
- Leverage CRM data and insights to inform decision-making, nurture leads, and manage customer relationships with finesse.
4. Business Expansion and Revenue Growth:
- Implement strategies aimed at expanding the division's business, with a keen focus on driving revenue growth while maintaining affordability and accessibility for our diverse learner base.
- Identify fresh market segments, delivery channels, and funding opportunities to expedite revenue growth.
5. Partnership Development for Future-Ready Skills:
- Establish and nurture partnerships with industry organizations, employers, government agencies, and educational institutions to create collaborative educational initiatives.

- Prepare regular reports on divisional performance, learner outcomes, and market trends for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Tertiary education with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- A dynamic and meticulous leader and strong organizational skills, interdepartmental execution, and accountability.
- Ability to develop a concise and measurable CET plan and see it through with urgency.
- A self-starter and multi-tasker with strong people leadership skills in managing diverse teams.
