- First-line supervisor of multiple Transportation Specialist. Directs, and coordinates work for the Transportation Personal Property and Travel Branch functions within Vehicle Operation, Personnel Movements, and Passenger Travel.
- Ensure port calls, group moves and the procurement of commercial airline reservation tickets for all Army personnel are in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the issue and accountability of all Government Service Administration (GSA) lease vehicles assigned to the organization Billing Office Address Code (BOAC).
- Perform Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) duties.
- Recommend new or alternative procedures and methods based upon operational needs and available resources. Provide knowledge and expertise necessary to ensure government interests and obligations are fully satisfied.
- Carry out Joint Service policies and procedures governing worldwide personnel travel via commercial and military airlift, boat, ferry service, and common carrier.
- Serve as point of contact for issues requiring manager level discrepancies by coordinating with fiscal stations, contract accounts, government contractors, finance and accounting offices, and other official organizations.
