The primary purpose of this position is: An Enlisted Air Reserve Technician (ART), to assist the medical records administration specialist with responsibility for the daily operations of the Medical Records, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management programs. Oversees all activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to the organization's policies and procedures covering Service Treatment Records (STR) administration. Provides direct support to the Medical Records Administration ART and Senior ART by accomplishing a variety of duties relating to medical administration, military functions, and analysis to assist with the operational requirements of the Squadron and Wing Force Health programs. Works directly with AFRC STR Processing Center, sub-set of Air Force Medical Readiness Agency (AFMRA). Provides training to reserve members in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties:
1. Provides direct support to the Medical Records Administrator and Senior ART in planning, directing, implementing, and controlling all elements of the day-to-day STR operation.
2. Ensures quality and security of the STR program.
3. Provides advisory and consultant services on service treatment records to Reserve Medical Unit staff.
4. Educates Reserve Medical Unit personnel and others on service treatment records requirements.
5. Manages Health Service Benefits and Entitlements.

• Develop recommended reprogramming of funds to ensure that balance is maintained.
• Recommend transfer of funds, as appropriate, to cover increased obligations or reduced expenditures
• Develop projections, based on projected workload or historical data.
• Compile and balance budget data for submission.

• Ensure ranges and training areas are maintained in safe operating condition through inspection and coordination with Range operations.
• Coordinate usage of all ranges for firing small arms, Infantry, Armor, Rotary and Fixed Wing Aircraft and Artillery weapons.

Duty 1. Performs budget formulation procedures/processes involving independent assessments and preparation of complex detailed analyses, budget estimates, special reports, and other documentation for a segment of the Air Force budget.

Duty 2. Ensures proper execution of a segment of the Air Force budget as authorized and appropriated by Congress.

Duty 3. Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments.

Duty 4. Directs overall objectives, critical problems, and special project assignments with employees.

• Supervise the service and repair work on heavy duty mobile equipment and vehicles powered by internal combustion engines such as diesel, multi-fuel, turbine, supercharged, and turbo supercharged engines.
• Exercise full supervisory responsibility planning daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
• Develop performance standards, counsel employees on performance, and make formal and informal performance appraisals.
