About the Role! 

Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Parkare looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Manager with experience working within a large operation that can take this landmark hotel to the next level, to join the Front Office team at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will: 

• Assist the Front Office Manager with all aspects of departmental operations, making business decisions that will exceed service expectations for our guests and staff. 
• Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining procedures for the Front Office department and fostering a focus on guest engagement.
• Assist with the management of the team including training and development, ensuring the team’s success.
• Responsibility for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members.
• Manage departmental staffing levels ensuring maximum productivity for the Front Office team.
• Build and establish strong relationships with existing and new guests, promoting and empowering the Front Office team for success. 

• Serves as the staff level contact for internal and external organizations regarding the planning of outreach activities such as conference participation, naturalization ceremonies, webinars and other events.
• Lead the identification of the informational needs of internal and external audiences and provide recommendations for content development.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach initiatives and events.
• Design, plan and implement standard operating procedures and processes, personally or through team members, to develop, structure, implement and monitor progress of outreach initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise and support in the development and implementation of outreach initiatives.

• Developing, implementing, and managing key procedures/aspects of the protocol within the scientific scope defined.
• Facilitating, coaching, and planning techniques to lead clinical research within the NICHD, Office of the Clinical Director.
• Independently evaluating critical feasibility issues such as those related to patient-population availability and recruitment, availability of resources.
• Coordinating and implementing clinical research protocols, including protocol development and implementation, patient recruitment, patient enrollment, data collection and organization, data analysis, safety monitoring.
• Ensuring compliance with protocol requirements to maintain data integrity; and supporting ongoing research and clinical programs at NIA.

1. Assignments are of limited complexity that involves conventional problems that can be resolved by selecting and applying standard analytical techniques and procedures. Establishes the necessary facts and links them to the solution of assigned problems and issues while continually deciding if enough information has been gathered to support findings.5. Prepares management studies which present findings identifying causative situations and recommending corrective action. Conducts or participates in the discussion of findings with activity personnel. • GS-09 Support real property and lease acquisition requirements with basic knowledge of the realty processes in addition to federal realty laws, policies, and regulations.
