This Transportation Security Manager position is located Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected for this position, you will be responsible for mitigating threats against civil aviation and other transportation security modes. As a Surface Maintenance Mechanic, WG-5801-11, you will:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and major repair on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical, and automotive vehicles.

Reassemble engines and other systems, and adjusts, tests, and reinstalls in vehicles and equipment as necessary.

Provide technical guidance and specialized team leadership to lower grade employees within the team.
