The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as the Force Support Squadron Superintendent. The incumbent serves as the Senior Enlisted Air Reserve Technician. This position advises, plans, organizes, and manages the activities and support services of the organization.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Plans, organizes, and oversees the full complement of activities within the Force Support Squadron. Manages process reengineering, continuous improvement initiatives, and management consulting services for various programs within the FSS.

(1) Troubleshoots, performs maintenance and major repairs on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles. This may include self-propelled artillery, tracked cargo and personnel carriers, road graders, mobile cranes, front loaders, conveyors, bulldozers, power shovels, compressors, generators, tanks, tracked combat vehicles, sedans, buses, all terrain vehicles, trucks, semi trailers, forklifts, tractors, and accessory equipment. Troubleshoots, repairs and overhauls major systems to include internal combustion engines, turbine engines, automatic and non-automatic transmissions, heavy duty drive line systems, and hydraulic utility systems and controls. Makes repairs to assemblies and components such as voltage regulators, generators/alternators, brake cylinders, etc. Performs work in accordance with modification work orders, technical manuals, lubrication orders, maintenance bulletins, regulations or management policies. May repair a variety of more complex major systems to include engines, cross drive or similar multi-system transmissions and a variety of intricate fuel injection systems.

(2) Troubleshoots equipment and diagnoses the cause of mechanical failures by means of visual and auditory checks and/or uses test equipment such as engine analyzers, compression testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, pressure gauges, and computer diagnostic tools. Utilizes embedded diagnostics in equipment and a wide variety of original equipment manufacturer system analyzers in order to determine the exact nature or extent of repair. Determines what adjustments may be necessary to complete work orders, and whether any additional repairs other than those specified or indicated on the work order are necessary.

(3) Removes and disassembles engines and major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and fuel, hydraulic, and oil pressure systems. Makes the appropriate repairs, overhaul, or modifications in accordance with the proper repair specifications and procedures. Reassembles engines and other systems, and adjusts, tests, and reinstalls in vehicles and equipment as necessary. Makes adjustments and repairs to electrical and suspension systems. May install pistons, sleeves, rings, bearings, rods, crankshafts, timing gears, and rocker arms.

(4) Independently performs repairs and maintenance functions in remote locations that can be accomplished by removing, cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing defective parts of components and systems such as injectors, leaking wheel cylinders, corroded mufflers, fuel tanks, brake cylinders and worn brake shoes, voltage regulators, generators, injector pumps, and fuel pumps. Provides technical guidance and specialized team leadership to lower grade employees within the team. Assists lower grade mechanics in performing major repair work. May provide Field and limited Sustainment maintenance at unit locations as part of a "contact team." Recovers and evacuates inoperable vehicles from the unit location of breakdown.

(5) Conducts readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and associated equipment supported by the activity. Performs operational inspections and ensures vehicles and equipment are properly serviced, including brake adjustments, replacing hydraulic fluids, greasing, cleaning, etc., and performs other preventive maintenance operations as required. Inspects supported equipment prior to use during Inactive Duty Training (IDT) and Annual Training (AT), to ensure that it is functioning properly. May inspect in-process repair work of lower graded repairer to ensure equipment is being repaired in accordance with pertinent requirements. May serve as a commodity inspector during Command Maintenance Management evaluations (COMET) or as a member of a Maintenance Assistance Instruction Team (MAIT). Instructs operator/crew in the maintenance of equipment and provides technical advice and assistance to supported units when requested.

(6) May maintain and repair electronics communication equipment by removing and replacing components and elements. Equipment includes such items as radios, field telephones, amplifiers, switchboards, recorders, intercoms.

(7) Assists in the maintenance of production reports and records, and makes recommendations to the supervisor. Plans, organizes, and performs technical analyses as required or assigned. Makes recommendations to the supervisor as to adjustments necessary to effectively, efficiently and economically accomplish the work and maximize production.

Covanta is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team! The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Field Service Technician I is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry. 

Additionally, the Field Technician I will operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements, and all local, state and federal laws. 

Responsibilities:

• Begins to learn operations of equipment such as forklifts, pressure washers, skid steers

• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the day

• Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools

• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.

• Performs cleaning duties utilizing an industrial pressure washer

• Learns and uses routine equipment safely and according to safety procedures

• Maintain a neat and clean working environment

• Acts as a professional representative of Covanta while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site

• Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Circon as required

As a CoStar Sales Executive for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lender Team, you will be responsible for growing the relationships with our largest and most important lenders nationwide. Multi-state commercial insurance carrier is seeking a qualified candidate for entry into their Claims Examiner Trainee Program. We are looking for candidates in the Cleveland, OH area. Initial in-person training consisting of 2 two-week training sessions in will take place shortly after being hired. This is an entry level technical position where the candidate will receive training in all aspects of commercial transportation claims and related customer service requirements.

The Claims Examiner Trainee Program is scheduled to start on June 10th.

Job Description:

The Claims Examiner will investigate commercial insurance automobile, cargo and general liability claims. Claims will be handled from the initial loss report through final disposition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigation of policy coverage and liability with a detailed analysis of applicable state laws; damage determination for property, commodity, and personal injury claims.
• Responsibilities also include establishing a course of action to conclude claims timely and in compliance with state regulatory requirements. Exposures are to be analyzed and proper reserves established. Escalation of high exposure claims is to be made to management for direction.
• Task assignments to outside vendors are required along with oversight and management of the vendor.
• Communication to policyholders, agents, and underwriting on key claim issues is required. Conduct open claim reviews and work cohesively with other departments to deliver superior customer service and claim service to policyholders.
• Travel may be required to attend training activities.   

Qualifications:

• Prior Insurance experience is not required, but strong analytical skills are required to effectively and efficiently analyze information.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to express complex evaluations and resolve claims through a well-planned negotiation strategy.
• Customer service skills and a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment are essential.
• Computer skills including data entry and a knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are also required.
