As a GS-0185-12, SOCIAL WORKER, you will:

Actively supports the commander's leadership team in addressing the psychological health of their installation. Provides strategic planning and leadership to implement an ANG comprehensive psychological health strategic plan. Assist leadership in understanding the interface between psychological health and operational readiness, and the role of the DPH in developing and helping leadership apply psychological health solutions to functional/operational problems. Encourage and coach unit leadership to actively promote psychological health and help-seeking as part of the wingman culture at the wing. Consult with leadership on workplace issues identified by unit leadership, (e.g., unit cohesiveness, conflict in the unit, unit stressors, etc).Conduct annual training for unit leadership on psychological health issues and the ANGPHP. Serves as the Air National Guard community liaison with military and non-military agencies to promote timely information exchange, coordinate collaborative prevention efforts, and establish and maintain an extensive array of resources, associations, and community partnerships. Participates in community activities to incorporate complex strategies that enhance community strengths, reduces broad-based community needs, implements community problem solving methods, and forges community connections so as to promote psychologically healthy lifestyles.

Conducts assessments, routine and crisis evaluations, psycho-diagnostic assessments, provides short-term, evidence-based problem resolution strategies and services. Provides on-site and telephonic access to psychological health assessments and individual consultation to facilitate coordination of clinical, counseling, and other services promoting the psychological health of NG members and their families. The DPH will conduct command-directed evaluations (CDEs). CDEs are governed by DODD 6490.1, DODI 6490.4, AFI 44-109, and AFI 44-172. As an IT Specialist (Network Services), GS-2210-11, you will:

Design and engineer IT networks carried over various transmission systems such as multi-channel satellite, troposphere scatter systems, Line-Of-Sight (LOS) RF radios, LOS laser radios, and cable systems. Engineers and designs router-to-router connections utilizing military and commercial protocols, switch-to-switch trunking, circuit configurations through military and commercial multiplexers, and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM). Develops plans for employment of communications systems to support operations in support of training and the deployed warfighter.

Plan and design Wide Area Networks (WANs) consisting of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Military Specification (MILSPEC) components to operate IAW accepted Information Technology (IT) security policies using network planning tools. Determines operational, technical and support requirements for the location, installation, operation and maintenance of network equipment and systems. This includes identifying, repairing or replacing numerous electronic (both digital and analog) components. It also includes the repair of composite materials and state of the art gas compressor turbines and electronically controlled engines. Troubleshoots, repairs, adjusts and aligns down sized powered support equipment. Uses a variety of sophisticated testers, such as analyzers, digital meters, oscilloscopes and other measuring devices to determine repair requirements. Corrects unusual maintenance problems, by interpreting a variety of technical data such as tables, charts, formulas, color codes, wiring diagrams, and schematic symbols. Does circuit analyses, considers integrated circuit relationships, and applies electronic principles in order to fault-isolate and repair the various digital devices contained in highly complex powered support equipment.

(2) Performs inspections, preventive maintenance, servicing, repair, and adjustments on complex rotary diesel engines.

(3) Must independently determine work sequences, specifications, and special procedures to be used to fault-isolate and repair unusual problems in various pieces of powered support equipment. Conducts classes to train maintenance personnel in operations, test procedures, and troubleshooting requirements of highly complex powered support equipment.

(4) Performs intermediate-level maintenance on powered support equipment and non-powered AGE. This includes working on cryogenic equipment, engine and generator changes, removing, repairing, and overhauling of accessories, and rebuilding of units. Engine rebuilding such as removal and replacement of crankshafts, pistons, and other integral parts. Replaces, checks and adjusts valves, bearings, cams, clutches, bushings, springs, armatures, pushrods, exhaust manifolds, tubing, hose and defective wiring. Diagnoses gas turbine malfunctions, using visual and auditory senses, test equipment and applicable technical publications; makes repairs, removes, disassembles and assembles components and sub-systems.

(5) Troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, modifies and operates aerospace ground equipment such as AC and DC power generators, various types of internal combustion engines, air compressors, blowers, hydraulic test stands, cabin leakage testers, portable diesel engine driven generators, emergency lighting units, de-icers, heaters, load banks, hydrostatic testers, cryogenic carts, decontamination units, thermal bath, vacuum pumps, flow meters, lavatory service trailers, air conditioners and various pieces of non-powered AGE. Performs required TCTOs and other modifications on powered support equipment. Performs corrosion control duties such as inspection, cleaning, stripping, sanding, priming and painting of AGE. Performs inspections, calibration and repair on test and shop equipment.

(6) Performs maintenance data collection, and prepares other required forms. Maintains Technical Orders, Technical Order Files, commercial technical publications and other directives pertinent to the section. Submits Technical Order Improvement Reports, Material Deficiency Reports and suggestions when required. Ensures that all waste products are properly disposed of and the effective waste minimization processes are used.

(7) Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluation such as ORI, IG and UE inspections, mobility, and command support exercises. May be required to perform such additional duties as structural fire fighting, aircraft fire/crash/rescue duty, security guard, snow removal, munitions loading and handling, heavy equipment operator, maintenance of facilities and equipment, or serve as a member of a team to cope with natural disasters or civil emergencies.(8) Participates and assists in conducting the necessary safety program for the Aerospace Ground Equipment activity.

As an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), GS-2210-12, you will perform the following duties:

1. Serves as an Information Technology Specialist providing Cybersecurity for an Air National Guard Wing's SAP or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) infrastructure. Operates within the DoD, Air Force and NGB security procedures, operations, and practices. Ensures systems are operated and maintained IAW AFI 17-101, Joint SAP Implementation Guidance (JSIG), and all applicable command and DOD security directives and procedures. Monitors DoD information security bulletins and notifications as they relate to Information Security Vulnerability Alerts (ISVAs). Coordination is required with peer Wing contacts, MAJCOM elements, and commercial vendors. Incumbent is required to ensure compliance with Federal, DoD, Air Force, MAJCOM Information Assurance/Cyber Security policies. Utilizes extensive knowledge of all areas of automation security to establish operating standards and procedures for the installation Information Security Program. Coordinates requirements with the responsible personnel and tracks suspense for completing required actions and reports virus problems in accordance with established procedures. Ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and networks by planning, analyzing, developing, and implementing information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. 2. Coordinates with Information System Security Managers at the Wing and MAJCOM level to verify or clarify information pertinent to cybersecurity/Information Assurance procedures. Ensures all IS and COTS/GOTS within the enclave are properly certified and accredited in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and configuration management policies and practices prior to installing devices/systems. The incumbent has program oversight responsibility for networks and information systems residing within Wing SAP facilities (Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICs) and SCIF facilities for Intelligence ISSO). Duties include ensuring certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation and implementation meets AFI 17-101, JSIG, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards for DoD Information Technology. As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Specialist, GS-2101-11, you will administer refresher and advance training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instruct and evaluate AOC assigned technician personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC weapons systems of record. Instruct and evaluate enlisted AOC specialties to become instructors. Instruct same to function within established joint doctrinal principles to support the planning and prosecution of theater level joint operations. Monitor progress during training and advise when AOC personnel are ready for positional certification.
