• Manage the day-to-day operations of all Data Center sites under your area, in a 24/7 mission critical environment.

Incumbent performs his/her assigned shift, coordinating workflow, determining priority of examinations and ensuring workload completion. Performs a variety of radiographic examinations such as routine, difficult, and complex studies in department as well as OR and on the wards/units. Receives the patient, explains the method of procedure, positions patients, selects and sets technical factors, sets up and adjusts accessory equipment required and makes exposures necessary for the requested procedure. In performing these duties, the incumbent is responsible for the following:

1. Performs standard radiographic examinations of the head, trunk and extremities for diagnoses of illness and injuries with minimal to no assistance. Receives patients and explains examinations to be performed, ensuring patients are properly attired and prepared before positioning patient for requested examination. Performs procedures as defined by the equipment and scope of services, possibly including GI and small bowel series, cholecystograms, cholangiograms, urethorograms, barium and air contrast enemas, myelograms, arthrograms, venograms, DXA Scans, and contrast injections as it correlates to exam. Correlates clinical history, pertinent clinical data and other ancillary diagnostic examinations to obtain radiographic images of optimal value.
2. Able to assist radiologist in fluoroscopic examinations which require incumbent to prepare and administer intravenous, oral, and/or rectal contrast media. Fluoroscopic studies such as upper GI's, barium enemas, esophagrams and small bowel follow through are performed on a digital fluoroscopy unit employing direct digital radiography.
3. Assists in training employees and student technologist, coordinates radiation safety, receives patients and explains procedures, prepares x-ray room and equipment; performs portables, OR procedures, emergency room (Triage), and recovery room.
4. Maintains records of patients examined, and studies performed in the VISTA hospital information system and CPRS.
5. Evaluates the nature of critical and emergency procedures and rearranges patient priorities to accommodate these more urgent requirements.
6. Responsible to explain exams to competent patients so that the patient understands what is to be done as well as what hazards, if any, is possible. Incumbent may be required by procedure or patient's condition to monitor vital signs, recognize allergic reactions and initiate cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
7. Properly identifies patient images using left and right markers. This is essential so that mistaken identity of films to patients does not occur. The technologist must be certain that the patient ID band and the request are identical.
8. Performs operator maintenance on equipment as required.
1. Responsible to the radiologists and supervisor for the quality and quantity of radiographic exams performed in order to assure a high level of acceptability of radiographs while minimizing patient dosage and reducing costs.
10. Performs quality control/assurance checks on studies performed to ensure that only optimally diagnostic images are forwarded to the radiologist(s) for interpretation.
11. Practices radiation safety in order to reduce exposure to patients, staff and self. This is achieved by the use of lead aprons, lead gloves, lead shields, lead-lined walls and collimation. Film badges are worn by the technologists to assure compliance to radiation regulations. The incumbent must also be aware of and practice the safety policies and procedures of the ALM VA Hospital and participate in quality assurance activities as directed.

Manchester Art Gallery is looking for a Collection Information Manager to join the Collection Management Team. Lead by the Collection Manager, the team also includes our Registrar and two Collection Management Officers, and together the team provides Collections Management leadership, advice, and support across the gallery. Through the implementation of collections management systems and standards the team help to facilitate access to the collection and widen collections use whilst ensuring that risks to the collection are effectively managed.

The Collections Information Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Emu, the Galleries’ collection management system, as well as the online collections search interface on the Galleries’ website. The Collection Information Manager is also responsible for image licencing requests, and they play a key role in other collections management activity at Manchester City Galleries, including processing acquisitions and disposals, cataloguing, locations management, auditing and the management of insurance records and provide collections management support and advice to other colleagues.

The current focus of the team is the delivery is a capital programme to improve collection storage and address long standing issues with our buildings whilst continuing to deliver a cultural offer that attracts up to 730,000 visitors a year. As we audit and move our collections we are seeking to improve our understanding of the under-used material held in our stores and explore it’s history, role and purpose. We are also working to expand and enrich our documentation, to include perspectives on the collection that are broad and intersectional, helping Manchester’s residents and gallery staff learn more about Manchester’s civic collection and it’s relevance in our lives today.

We're looking for a Principal Information Security Domain Architect to join our wider Digital Technology & Data team at Co-op. In this role, you'll work closely with the rest of our Information Security Leadership team to shape our information security strategy and roadmap; making sure these align with our architectural principles and business needs. Position – Research Assistant in Cell Biology and Technology Unit

Job Scope:

· Tool generation – expression vector construction and molecular cloning, protein expression, stable cell lines development

· Drug screening – ELISA, FACS, cell-based functional assay, confocal microscopy, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, qPCR etc.

Requirements:
