Speedcargo is currently working with large players in the air cargo industry such as Etihad Airlines, dnata (Emirates group), SATS,WFS Emirates Skycargo, Menzies Aviation etc., The roll out of Speedcargo’s technologies for Etihad and other customers, requires deployment at different locations for the Airline and ground handling stations across the globe. In 2023 deployments are envisaged in South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Abu Dhabi, Germany, Netherlands, UK & the US, besides potential locations in Southeast Asia. Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee technology projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and a background in technology development. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and communicate project progress.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project resources effectively, ensuring team members are allocated appropriately and deadlines are met.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress and performance using key metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and upper management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
- PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification is a plus.
