Location: Remote. You will be expected to travel across England, ideally living in the Central Region of England. This role will require occasional overnight stays.
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

Job Description - Provide professional food safety, health & safety and related support to the operations team as required.
- Carry out visits to locations to offer support and complete audits to ensure locations are legally compliant as well as company policy compliant and following industry “Best Practice”.
- Review accident and incident reports to ensure the necessary corrective actions have been taken following an accident or near miss.
- Undertake accident, allergy incident and alleged food poisoning investigations, working to identify root causes, attending client meetings with operations where required.
- Support for developing, engaging and rolling out safety initiatives and information to meet the company’s expectations.
- Support the development of a strong safety culture across the contract.
- Support with online systems, to ensure compliance and raise maintenance tickets to support with location safety.
- Support in the management and review of third party and client audits.
- Prepare reports and present at meetings both internally and with the client.
- Attend Client meetings to offer sound advice and help ensure BaxterStorey policies & practices mesh with Client requirements.
- Work with the wider Food, Health & Safety Team to review and develop safety documentation, projects, training, and safety initiatives.
Qualifications - Recent Graduate of a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health.
- Must have full driving licence.
- You draw satisfaction from influencing, training and supporting a team.
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
- Keep up to date with appropriate legislation and company policy and procedures
