Short summary
The position of Finance Operations Co-ordinator is a key role in the Finance Operations team, part of the Finance Operations team. The Institute of Inner-City Learning (IICL) is one of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s four Institutes with campuses in Birmingham and London.

The Group Capital Regulatory Reporting director (GCRR) is responsible for the production, control and delivery of the Group’s key prudential supervisory reporting and disclosure for Capital, Large Exposures and Leverage, including: COREP (Own Funds, LE, Leverage) and Pillar 3.

The team is based in London and supported by teams in India and its partner. The team also plays a key support and liaison role for country reg teams, global functions (such as Risk, Compliance and Treasury), Investor Relations and is a key contact for the Bank of England. Program Finance Analyst

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Division Finance & Business Operations Manager, the Programme Financial Analyst is responsible for providing Programme Financial Control and ensuring the integrity of the financials on the programmes.

This role will be primarily responsible for supporting programmes in the Civil Division’s Devolved Government & Energy Portfolio, based in Glasgow, Scotland. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be a key member of Programme Management Team and act as a Finance Business Partner
• Provide highest level of customer service to all customers and stakeholders
• Responsible for the pricing of new business opportunities when required
• Develop, track and update programme baseline including tracking actual costs against baseline, development and overall management of programme Estimate At Complete (EAC)
• Analysis of programme actuals for accuracy, identifying & correcting errors, and communicating issues to Programme Management to prevent future errors
• Responsibility for producing programme financial customer deliverables
• Supporting financial presentation for programme or operational reviews
• Performing both short and long term forecasting for corporate metrics (Awards, Revenue, and Operating Income) at the programme level. Providing commentary on variances and of any financial Risks & Opportunities against financial forecast
• Accountable for programme billing, cash collection, analysis and clearing of unbilled receivables
• Support the validation of awards/bookings, backlog, revenue & operating income
• Provide excellent adhoc support to a wide variety of stakeholders both within the finance leadership team, and within wider operational teams
• You will be expected to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to show a degree of flexibility in working hours when required to meet project and finance deadlines. The successful candidate will take ownership of decisions made

• Project/programme accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Organised and thorough, with attention to detail
• Team player but able to work independently and proactively

dealing with invoicing, credit control and purchase orders is advantageous. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability
to manage client relationships. As a strong team player, you need the ability to work in a busy environment, comfortable with
multi-tasking, communicating directly with internal stakeholders and external contractors and working under pressure to meet
deadlines. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage and build strong client relationships, as well as
having the confidence to use your initiative and manage your workload effectively. As a key team member, you will demonstrate
