We're looking for a Finance Master Data Specialist to join a brand-new team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. As a Finance Master Data Specialist, you'll support in optimising our financial master data processes. - Drive the implementation of a standardised master data model across Co-op for finance master data
- Collaborate with internal partners, from various finance teams, to make sure the data model meets their needs and facilitates efficient financial processing in SAP systems
- Make sure the timely processing of all work received into the department
- Challenge and action any master data set-up and amendment requests, after following the verification process
- Assist in the production and review of process documentation and
- Train new and existing team members, providing support and guidance when needed
- Establish a clear governance framework for managing financial master data on an ongoing basis, implement controls and ensure data quality and compliance

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE:

As Finance Assistant you will support the hotels Financial control and General Manager to ensure financial controls and systems are adhered to company policy. We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to provide accurate, efficient and effective support to the Finance Manager for the development and operation of the finance function of the Academy.

As the Finance Assistant, you will support the Finance Manager and assist with the development and operation of the Finance function of the Academy.

Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as is experience within an education setting. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, producing accurate work in an efficient manner. Salary range: £24,653-£26,779 plus LW per year

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team either as your first step into Finance or to progress your career towards becoming a fully qualified accountant. You will be responsible for income collection and the cashiering service ensuring the prompt and accurate banking of all receipts. In addition, you will be assisting with some of the other aspects of financial accounting including payments and purchase orders processing
You will work closely with colleagues across the college being responsible for the control and distribution of petty cash as well as administering the purchase ledger including coding, registering, matching and filing of invoices.
You will have a level 3 qualification in a finance or related subject and be competent using MS Office and other IT packages. This role would be a good steeping stone to advance your career and progress towards a full accounting qualification.
