Job Summary
The Finance and Customer Service Manager will oversee the financial operations and customer service activities within the shop. This role is responsible for maintaining financial health, ensuring efficient customer service, and supporting overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Management:
• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage annual audit processes.
Customer Service Management:
• Liaise with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve complex issues.
• Analyse customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
General Management:
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall business strategy.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and customer service management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
